Today we're releasing a song called "STAY" and performing it live for the first time. It's a song I made with Seungmin three years ago. Just us two wanted to create a song for the voices of the eight of us, so I got the track from Seungmin and worked on it.

Back then the topline came out way faster than expected, almost all within 30 to 40 minutes, and we added the lyrics later. It was basically within 2 to 3 days of starting the track including lyrics, it was a song we made in about 2 to 3 days. When we heard it'd be released this year there were a few spots that showed it was made a really long time ago, so before the song came out, Seungmin and I revised the lyrics a lot together. And you know that sing-along part at the very end? That originally wasn't there While we were revising, neither of us had time to re-record, so Seungmin did the whole demo on his laptop at the dorm and that's how the final version got made at the end.

Thankfully, with that we were able to hand out the demo to the members So after all the ups and downs, it made it into the world, one of our treasures. And we get to play it for STAY.
