soooo I finally made art for all members of our current Dragon Heist party and I can ramble about my fav imaginary people that are sharing one and only braincell

from left to right: our very secretive half-elf bard Lariel Sunset (we're like 98% sure it's not his real name), my wizard-warlock (lady) Katarina Antor and cleric-warlock Alvin Blackwater who accidentally became important at work and it's ruining his life

Lariel Sunset:

very very secretive, we're not even sure what his personal quest is

he was in Baldur's Gate's prison with Alvin and they escaped it together

his quest is related to Waterdeep evil insurance guild which is very topical but also hilarious (we think that he seeks revenge but idk)

a few sessions ago he killed a god (with a help from another god)

always have money somehow when the rest of the party has none

Katarina Antor:

my fav evil wizard who got kicked out of Candlekeep for not fully known reasons

she got a pact with Levistus and all signs point to the fact that she'll became a devil sooner or later

got kidnapped by a hag who also was/became(?) hald-goddess that was planning to steal her body

released an ancient god just to get rid of the hag (it worked and our bard killed him later)

all she wants to do is to read books about magic and find a good aristocrat for a marriage of convenience but now she needs to save Waterdeep or whatever

her father maybe had/has an affair with Davil Starsong (which was not intentional but we decided it's canon, everyone in the family including her mom knows and ok with it, DM can't escape it now)

Alvin Blackwater:

his goddess is also his patron which is very sus but characters don't know much about it

he's also his goddess' chosen and has a prophecy about him and saving the city

zero braincells but he's the goodest boy on the Sword Coast and tries to help everyone

he's just looking for his father who also did a lot of both sus and heroic stuff and we don't even know which plane he's on, please, come back, your son is missing you

has alcohol, debt and crime problems which got him into prison and then got him work for Antor family

the moral compass of the party because of course he is

Once in a while I remember that Crusade, a Babylon-5 spin-off series, has only one season and no one knows about it and it hurts so damn much. It could have been a wonderful sci-fi series and even 13 episodes of the 1st season (initially there should have been 22) are pretty fun. It’s not perfect but it had such a promising start
