This all feels very “You know what? Sure!” to me. All I’m left with at the end of every chapter is “I guess?!?”. Like is it just me or do none of these characters feel like themselves anymore??

Also, I’m gonna be lame and say it. I’m happy for fans of characters finally getting some spotlight, but I’ve been over all these flashbacks for a while now.

hello! could i ask if you still follow the manhwa Black Haze? or if you know anything about the hiatus? (i think the website got shut down but i've only returned to the comic after a year of not reading it so im not sure). thank you!

I still love that series even though it hasn’t updated in probably over a year. A bunch of authors, including the one for Black Haze, had a disagreement with the publishing company and left. So until they find somewhere else to publish….we may never know the end of the story 😭

The author announced an indefinite hiatus in 2017 because of the publishing issues. So it left off on chapter 228, which is definitely not the end of the story. It will either go unfinished or continue publication in the far future on some other platform. 😩

Sooooo, I dunno how to say this as it’s again been so long since I used this account, but I kinda wanna come crawling back to Tumblr. The thing that’s held me back from doing it for so long is that this is my main account, so it’s the one that I wanna use, but it felt like it should only be for OnS stuff as it’s what brought in everyone. Yet currently OnS has kinda…been meh if I’m being honest 😭

Tldr; I’m probably going to be actively using this account again, but for everything I like, for my own personal enjoyment. Mainly more variety of manga and some comics 😅 If you only wanted OnS content, absolutely no hard feelings if you unfollow! Even if we’re moots, I’ll totally understand and still luv you 🫶

Bonus note: I’m not gonna lie, it was the new AnS chapter with Obiyuki that got me acting out my friends. Who woulda thought!

Finally got my lost account back

Not that I was trying too hard to gain access back considering I was burnt out and useless back here in the states. But I got it! During my time away, I would peruse Twitter. I don’t think obiyuki is impossible. They are the most developed ship in the manga by far and there’s a lot of foreshadowing that points to them being endgame.

I agree with everything you say! It’s just that when I care about something so much, I try not to get my hopes up too high and thus think almost strictly logically about it as my way of coping...So I try and remind myself that Zenyuki is what started it all and is the relationship that is stated by the characters to be romantic in nature. Though deep down I don’t actually care about those things and would accept whatever plot devices needed to make obiyuki happen haha.

They really do have the most developed and fleshed out relationship and I love it so much?!! And they’ve gone through so many of my favorite ship tropes it’s not even funny! Enemies to friends (to lovers)?✔ Think it’s unrequited?✔ He only ever calls her by her nickname so when he uses her real name you know it’ll be big?✔ Bodyguard falling for their ward?✔ Her looking forlornly out the window in worry when he’s gone?✔ Child they take care of?✔ Everyone just assumes they’ll be able to find one if they find the other?✔ A simple gift that became a treasure?✔ All of the hand symbology?!!✔ And now even fake dating?!! I just can’t with them.

Sorry this took forever to answer, I just really struggled as I have so much to say about them that I didn’t want to accidentally type up a 5 page essay lol.

Oh, ya know, just living the quarantined life as best I can lol. At least I have an essential job I can do from home, so I’m grateful for that. I want to be more active on Tumblr again, but trying to kick my pain med addiction makes me tired all the time with migraines 🙄 Nothing serious, just hadn’t realized how dependent I’d become on the stuff I took to deal with the whiplash and injuries from my accident. Lesson learned 😩 Life could be worse, considering the state of the world out there, that’s for sure...

But I can see him becoming a demon or seraph(more fully) here. He did explode though, which as far as I’m aware, hasn’t happened before. However he has had some similarities to Mahiru, it could be a Mahiru or Yu situation, cuz I highly doubt he’s dead. If he is though, we’ve already been introduced to the concept of bringing people back from the dead, so there’s that. As to whether that’s a fate worse than death, who can say?
