Hemincuff: The Rapidly Growing Company

Hemincuff a growing company that creates high fashion organic t-shirts and handmade Italian leather items was founded three years ago by the young and talented Noel Veloz. Veloz was influenced by the fashion world as early as the third grade when he started to collect Jordan and Nike basketball shoes. However, it was not until later that year when his father and mother bought him his first sketchbook and pack of colored pencils for Christmas that he realized he would do whatever it takes make it into the fashion world as a designer. And that is actually what Veloz did. By the time he was twenty years old, he had interned at more than five different companies (and some twice) and had even started his own business (Hemincuff).

Having a small amount of resources and little to no idea how to make, Noel Veloz managed to design and produce his first product in only seven days!

“I just made a signature Hemincuff t-shirt with the logo on a black Gildan t-shirt. I sewed on my label and sold thirty units in two weeks. The quality was horrible but it got the name around. With the funds from these sales, I saved it and did research to source my own fabric with awesome quality. You gotta start from somewhere. I can call this one of my humble beginnings” (Veloz).

Even though Noel managed to start his own business he still had many challenges to face. For example, he knew that he could not keep slapping his logo onto Gildan t-shirts, instead he had to create his own fabric and t-shirt. Noel says that this was the hardest problem he had to face in his fashion career; however it had to happen if he wanted his company to grow.  

            Now three years later Hemincuff has grown immensely, he now has his own seamstress that helps produce the clothes and a team that helps him with the graphic designs for his t-shirts and outerwear. Noel Veloz has even created a new beautiful Italian leather duffle bag that is good for traveling or just walking around town. Veloz now hopes that by next year his products will be on the racks of large stores throughout the United States and maybe even other countries in the world.
