Hey everyone!!

It’s been a while since I’ve been around here what with baby and all. But I’m still alive! And hopefully now that things have settled I’ll be able to come back and draw a bit too.

Hey guys! Long time no seen. It's hard finding time to draw with a baby who won't nap on her crib ;-; I hope you've all been doing well!

My friend lost her dear buddy last month way so here is something I did for her in the little free time I found. Thought I would share

Hi everyone! Our baby is here! <3

This will be saved in drafts until the time comes, so if you are reading it, it means that our baby girl has just been born and both mod and baby are doing great!

I'll be taking some time off Tumblr to spend quality time with our growing family and enjoy getting closer to my daughter. I'll probably be mostly MIA for a while.

60: Do you wanna get married?

It's something that we have already discussed. Neither of us is religious nor cares much about marriage. So it would be a civil marriage mostly for convenience's sake, especially for the baby and the perks you get here from being legally binded (sick leaves for your partner etc.).

Honestly, I often call my partner my husband as it is, because we just function as a marriage. For us, the fact that we decided to get a house together and have a baby, which was very thought and sought out, is much more important than a paper certifying we are together. The only reason we haven't done it yet is that in Spain they give you a 15 day paid leave to go on your honeymoon, and since my partner doesn't have a stable job yet we want to make sure that he does why the time we get married so that we can actually make use of those days lol

But yeah, I admit that it's kind of exciting, there is part of me that can't wait to wear a ring heh

69: Do you believe in soulmates?

I don't think that you are destined to have someone be your perfect counterpart. I think that you can fall in love with multiple people in your lifetime, perhaps differently each time but still just as true. I know I have, and saying that I have a soulmate somewhere out there would diminish the importance of those relationships.

And it's better that way; it means that the person I'm with is someone I have chosen myself and want to be with on my own free will, giving them my all. Take my amazing partner for example, not believing that he is my soulmate doesn't mean I don't want to spend the rest of my life building a family together with him because I will definitely fight with teeth and nails for him if I have to <3

I've always been more on the savory end of cravings but let me tell you, the pregnancy sweet tooth has gone highwire lol

14: Do you miss someone?

There are three people I immediately think of that I miss dearly after our friendship faded due to the circumstances of life, and that I don't talk to anymore. I'm so thankful for having had them in my life, made me the person I am now and will definitely hold a little place in my heart forever.

I also have been missing my grandma dearly lately. She's been gone from this earth for 15 years now, and I have found myself missing her so much these last few months with my pregnancy. She was such a powerful presence in my childhood and I know she would have adored meeting my baby.

15: Have any pets?

My beautiful good boy. We've been together for 6 years. I adopted him at 8 months old from the shelter when I myself was at a very dark place and I can promise you he saved my life. I don't think I would be here if it weren't for him.

18: Are you scared of spiders?

I don't neccesarily like them but the don't bother me

51: Favourite food?

Any kind of cheese in any food you bring me. It's been a struggle with pregnancy since I can't eat a lot of them sob

01: Do you have a good relationship with your parents?

I’ve always had a good relationship with my parents. Although it’s true that my mom has some problems of her own that has affected me and our relationship, specially during my teenage years, with therapy I’ve learnt to deal with her less positive traits. That being said, both of them have always been there for anything I’ve needed and specially now they are so loving and caring since they are over the moon about being grandparents heh. I don’t think my mom has ever been as affectionate as now that I’m pregnant, other than when I was a kid myself.

03: Do you regret anything?

I definitely have some regrets in ways I’ve acted in some scenarios in the past. Acting in a way I thought would protect a friend (by hiding info) that ended up hurting them more or perhaps not handling friendships or other relationship in a way I’m proud of right now. I would definitely act in other ways now that I have more experience in life, but if I hadn’t messed up in the past, I wouldn’t be who I am now. The one thing I’ve never regretted is that at least I’ve never acted in a way that would purposely hurt anyone.

04: Are you insecure?

I’ve been a very insecure person in the past. Definitely when I was kid, when I was bullied and all, and it carried into my teenage years and well into my twenties. But I’m over 30 now (geez I am old orz) and have a lot of experience and therapy. I found a place where I personally belong, be it in my career, romantic relationship and friends. I’m happy with myself! The one thing I’m struggling with and feeling inadequate and insecure about is my upcoming role as a mom. Hopefully experience will help me find my place there too~

Guys, pssst, guys! I FINALLY got a proper computer and can draw in my beautiful tablet 😭

Our little study (/gym lol) is finally set, which was one of the three pieces of our new home left. Only need the couch of the living room to arrive and then the baby's room to set. We still don't have anything for the last, my parents want to come with us to buy furniture since they want to be the ones to purchase it (and I couldn't be more grateful since I'm BROKE after the mortgages payment. All my savings of 7 years of work drained orz).

Updates should start as normal starting tomorrow!

The 26th of August was my 2 year anniversary with my partner.

We’ve gone through family trouble and health scares together. You pushed me to go back to my hobbies (you have him to thank for me being back into drawing y’all) and were my rock in the darkest times. Your calm and levelheadedness was an anchor when anxiety hit. Your terrible dad jokes a respite when depression creeped its ugly head.

If someone had told me two years ago where I’d be today, I wouldn’t have believed them. So many big changes. A change of job. Buying an apartment of my own. Living with someone I have completely trust on. And most importantly, our the wait for our little blessing that will come on December.

Thank you for these two wonderful years. I love you so much <3

Waiting for the plane that will take us back home. Vacation is over, went by so quick ;-; But part of me is looking forward to getting back to normal routine, finish the moving and enjoy our new apartment <3

The rest of the artfight art from this year! Didn’t get done as much as I was hoping but really happy with what I ended up making for the most part! Tried my first mass attack and even did a small painting for the first time in awhile! The first art piece in this post is my over all favorite from this year- I just had a lot of fun with it For those who attacked me this year I’m planning on drawing you something in return after the event so that next year I’ll be “debt free” if I choose to participate ^^

Artfight is over and oh my god I had way more fun then I was expecting too. It was my first year and I honestly went into it thinking I'd get nothing.

I joined to draw other people's characters and didn't think anyone would draw mine, I was wrong. Thank you to everyone who took time to doodle my little guys!
