From the Oscar nominated movie "Boyhood" comes this mesmerizing soundtrack "Hero" by "Family of the Year"
Whether you love the movie, like it or simply hate it, I haven't met anyone who didn't like the song,
From So You Think You Can Dance's season 11 top 16 episode. Jessica and Casey danced a contemporary routine choreographed by Travis Wall to this piece and in my opinion, it was one of the best routines in the show's run.
If interested in watching the dance, here's the link to it.. It makes all the difference to the song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MCeA-jrLYws
Private Eyes, originally performed by Hall and Oates and released in 1981, was covered recently by Sleeping At Last; the indie-rock musical project.
It was featured in Grey's Anatomy, season 10's episode 19.
This is hauntingly beautiful!
Once upon a time I was falling in love, now I'm only falling apart..
Jill Andrews did this brilliant cover of Bonnie Tyler's "Total eclipse of the heart" that was featured on episode 12, Season 10 of Grey's Anatomy, the mid-season finale..
Egyptian composer Hisham Nazih; known for his his unorthodox use of handling musical instruments, pairing up with one of the best Egyptian female vocalists; Noha Fekry, came up with this super soundtrack for an Egyptian TV show called Nekdeb lw olna mabenhebesh (We lie if you say we don't love).
Get a taste of a different kind of music and spread the happiness!
Blue Valentine's soundtrack So sad, yet so beautiful and happy at the same time! Few of us get to experience that kinda love.. You and Me- Penny and The Quarters.
Moon river is one of the most iconic soundtracks of all time. I mean, how couldn't it be when "Breakfast at Tiffany's"; the movie it was featured in was on of the best movies ever produced.
You all heard it a million times and more by the voice of beautiful Audrey Hepburn, but today, we get to experience it with the voice of Ben E. King.
If you haven't watched "Pitch Perfect" yet, you're missing one hell of a good movie. Its fun, its happy, its easy to watch and you'll feel instantly happy afterwards. Here's one of my favourite songs from the movie. *I love the video as much as I love the movie*
Came across this amazing track while watching SYTYCD newest season. The song, the music, the vocals, the violins, the beats, the piano are all just brilliant.
Another perfect song.
Gumption is exactly how I feel today. One of my all-time favorite soundtracks.
I know I might sound stupid to so many people now but how could "Skyfall" win an Oscar over this masterpiece? The song is so much better, maybe it just wasn't good enough for the academy cause it wasn't commercial enough?

I just finished watching “Grey’s anatomy” pre-season finale episode. This episode featured one of my all time favorite songs; I’m gonna be by The Proclaimers. Soon after that one was over as the final montage showed an Indie Acoustic cover of that song by Sleeping At Last played, and it was just perfect. This made my entire morning!
Friday, May 10. 6 a.m. For the love of good music to start my weekend. This is just perfect!
Thursday, May 9th, early morning: This just makes me feel good in the morning. Plus, I have a thing for quirky British comedies and that one was featured in "Salmon fishing in the Yemen" which was SO good.
