"passing advice" for trans men that is like "kill your joy and whimsy. you wear baggy neutrals now. you will dress like a 90s grunge band member but you cant accessorize or have hair longer than your ears. plain boxy tshirts only. maybe a flannel but beware you might look like a lesbian if youre not careful. and i have to reiterate: dont you fucking DARE wear a color"
"Passing advice" for trans women:
Skirts, dresses, no shirts unless they're women's cut. 2 hours of makeup AT LEAST every day. Don't wear anything other than pink. Don't have any unique style. Also get these dozen surgeries.
"Passing advice" for non binary people:
Alternatively
"if you're 'afab' nonbinary wear baggy pants, graphic tees, and get a wolf cut. You MUST fit into society's expectations of masculinity or else you're not really trans. What do you mean I'm reinforcing the binary ??"
"if you're 'amab' nonbinary wear skirts and grow out your hair, You MUST fit into society's expectations of feminity or else you're not really trans. What do you mean I'm reinforcing the binary ??"
Maybe this is a controversial take but honestly, I don't care even if you only mean cis men when you say "kill all men" or "all men suck" because you're contributing to bioessentialism/gender essentialism and generalizing an entire group of people to be bad and even perpetuating the idea that men who do shitty things to them because "they can't help it due to being men". You're not dismantling the patriarchy, you're contributing to it.
Both Transandrophobia And Transmisogyny Exist
also to add
Also Exorsexism And Intersexism Too
Just so we’re clear, if I point out that you did something racist, that’s not the same as me thinking you’re irremediably terrible. You did a racist thing.
You think you don’t do racist things, homophobic things, etc? You do. I caught myself in fat phobic and homophobic lines of thinking/speech just this morning. I’m fucking gay married. Nothing disqualifies you from acting in a way that reflects the society you exist in. We are obliged to fight it. Why not fight it in honesty and with camaraderie?
Tired of hearing "nonbinary people are valid !!" What if I don't just wanna be valid. What if I want to be taken as seriously as a binary trans person. What if I want more than to be called a they/them and watch my existance be treated like a joke by people within and outside the trans community who think it makes them inclusive because we're apparently a part of the "girls, gays, and theys" and that's supposed to be a good thing. What if I want exorsexism to be taken as seriously as other forms of transphobia and called out by everyone, not just nonbinary people. What if I don't want to be an afterthought in posts about trans rights or only brought up when other nonbinary people bring us up. What if I don't want everything to just be transfem, transmasc, and on rare occasions transneu.
I honestly think that the stereotype within the trans community of an "annoying theyfab who's basically just a cis woman who's trying to be special and has a hundred confusing made up labels (clearly done to annoy me)"
Often ends up seeming eerily similar to the stereotype of an "annoying blue haired liberal with confusing pronouns (clearly done to annoy me)"
Funny how the same exorsexist stereotypes bleed from wider society into the trans community
It's almost as if trans people also need to deconstruct their internalized misogyny and transphobia too
"transfems using theyfab are punching up" y'all are actually dumb as bricks there's no hope
i feel like a lot of you dont realize what a lot of what you call "male privledge" only applies to white allopericishet able-bodied men.
some marginalized men do experience male privledge, but not in the way you think they do.

Been thinking a lot about the anon who mentioned the kenochoric identity (a neogender identity centering on kenopsia, which is something I’ve been deeply connected to for years) and lowkey… I forget sometimes that I can just do that, y’know. I was like “well that sounds exactly like me but I’m also 100% a binary trans man so maybe I can’t use that label” but what kinda trans joy blog would I be running if I questioned multi-label identities. Like kenochoric trans man can just be me, I can just do that and I don’t need to ask permission or anything. I didn’t even know until right now that I could do that. Life is amazing. Holy shit.
smoking that shit that makes you plural, smoking that we’d
