Where does bill get Stan fancy clothing

Well, I would say that he steals it from a clothing shop but I hardly doubt they sell some specific clothes stuff there in gravity falls.

However, yeah, it's most likely stolen from a shop. He just sees smth he likes and steals it. What is Stan gonna do? Scold him??

But yeah, it's basically that.

Half of the stuff was stolen from, or he just kinda alters some of the clothing that Stan already has existing.

Even if Stan is like "where did you get this" he'll never get a straight answer and he'll just shrug.

Words are definitely not my strong suit but I find it both frustrating and beautiful that bill feels the exact way Stan needs but can’t express it bill feels that Stan is his own person he doesn’t see ford in him he doesn’t WANT to see ford in him all he wants is Stan but can’t properly articulate that other then “you are not him” which can be taken so wrong I really feel for Stan in this 😭

Which is more or less how he felt, he is the extra Stan, the watered down version of Ford.

The good for nothing twin how bad is it that even your current only friend whom seems to understand you, thinks that way?

However, Bill means it in a different way:

"You are more than good enough just by being you. Stop trying to be someone you aren't."

He wants Stanley to have his identity and understand that he is not meant to be compared to Ford. They are different people despite being twins.

That's why he usually calls Stanley "Lee" instead of "Stan." He isn't another Stan. "Stan"ford and "Stan"ley, why does Ford gets his own identity and Stan is stuck being Stan?

Yeah, that's what he thinks anyway.

Uhm, its hard to explain what they see in each other. Since it was a "i spend a lot of time with him, we could understand each other, it no longer felt like there was a void. He became a part of me, and I became a part of him."

They see what others can't, their true self. No masks around each other, no lies or manipulations that can be used against each other. They see the worst, but the best of the other.

It's like when you just love someone you do, it's hard to put in words why you do or what you see in the other person. However, it usually sounds superficial like "he does this for me, so I like him." It's not simple?

They see what others can't they see. Thr little things and behaviors, the glances, the way his eyes soften up when he is relaxed, or maybe is how the other one tries to be more careful with his words despite not being happy with his actions.

So funny thing, I think he would get angry if he cuts his hair too short. He dislikes it because it reminds him a lot of Stanford and he is more than disgusted at that idea.

"It's already more than enough people call you Stanford, Lee. Why would you even want to go as far as to look like him even more?"

"It's disgusting. You are NOT him."

Often times than not, that's how he speaks to Stanley. He really sucks with words that are meant to be soft and loving. It's just not his thing!

Those words would have been uttered once again a 2nd time it happened since the first time would have been in the "do i look like him" video since then basically Bill prohibited him from ever cutting it that short and told him that he would even take care of it as long as he kept it a long lenght (mullet).

Though, I feel like the 2nd time would have been menear. Way more angrier and with certain disgust that it's being used to mask the nostalgic and fear he feels. He knows Stanley could never be Ford, but the idea of resembling him too much brings the fear of Stan comparing himself to Ford just like before.

For him, Stanley is his own person, and he is not meant to be compared.

what couples things do bill and Stan do?

Well, aside from Bill forcing Stan to match clothes (he makes him wear fancier clothes because of that), they do marathons of the duchess aproves.

It tends to be subtle stuff, kinda like Bill spending quiet, quality time with Stanley, neither truly talking because Stan realized whenever he mentioned the other was being "nice and loving" he would leave instantly (pretending to be all high and mighty, rarely would he stay)

They cook together as well, the two of them helping each other when its the time to cook of the other.

I like to think that Stanley knits from time to time, so in a sense, the two spend time together that way, too. Sometimes Stan just knits Bill a scarf (it comes out weirdly looking he isn't that good at it)

Perhaps quality time and gift giving are their way to go. They both suck at words imo 😭.

I do know for a fact that Bill still gifts him weird stuff in return, like a cat bringing you a dead bird or a dead mouse. He thinks it's romantic! (It's not)

Lastly, I wholeheartedly believe one "couple" thing they do is Bill making Stanley constantly exercising and forcing him to run laps no matter how old he is.
