Breastfeeding is the ultimate gift a woman gives her baby–because she chooses everyday whether to continue or to stop. Don't look at breastfeeding as something you will enjoy or even like all the time, but as a commitment to your child’s health.” “There are peaks and valleys with breastfeeding and sometimes you will thoroughly enjoy it, and sometimes you will resent it–but in the end you will not regret one day that you stuck with it, even though you were not feeling that joy 100% of the time.

If you’re a breastfeeding mama and you’re returning to work feel free to share this information with your colleagues. We all need a little support!
I love that moment when you’re nursing and you can just stare at your little creation.
1st - 7th August is World Breastfeeding Week (WBW). It’s all about encouraging breastfeeding and improving the health of babies around the world. It goes without saying we should be doing this all year round, but this is a great start. You can check out World Health Organisation (WHO) for more information on breastfeeding, including some great facts on why breastfeeding is good for you and your baby. The Baby Friendly initiative from UNICEF has great info on tips for breastfeeding at work as part of WBW.
There’s also a very nice infographic with the global targets for breastfeeding you can have a look at. I do love a good infographic!
The 2015 campaign is all focused around breastfeeding and working mums - Let’s make it work. So if you’re going back to work and are wondering if you can still breastfeed, then the answer is YES! Check out the breastfeeding and going back to work from the NCT, it’s very helpful.
The main thing to remember is that we do the best we can for our children, so even if you choose not to breastfeed, you are an awesome mum and that tiny little person loves you!
Follow the #WBW2015 on Twitter for events and general info!
Thanks for reading,

P.S. How cute is the flashback of my little girl ‘milk drunk’.
Loving my new hairstyle. It's more got life, it's more practical and inspired by Taraji P Henson. I use Morrocanoil Moisture repair shampoo and conditioner. I also use pure Argan Oil to moisturize and sometimes add to my conditioner for a deep treatment. That's it. Having had a baby, I have found my hair shedding but it's okay as long as I stick to my routine. Also the argan oil is a new addition, so we'll see how that goes.
Taking it one day at a time. Being a mum is tough!

It's been a while since I've been on here. I'm coming back but first let me bring this little girl into the world!
Love hand drawn illustrations!
This year I need to explore England more and never have I seen such a beautiful site from my train down to Cornwall. This picture was shot in Teignmouth!
Still no idea where it is but it was beautiful!!!

In some ways this sort of makes sense. It’s not just about making the most of life but trying to conquer and surprise everyone with what you can do. So I guess the question is: What have you done recently to turn lemonade to lemons?

Simply Brilliant!
Recently went to an exhibition by Alex Noble and curated by Ryan Lanji. It was pretty inspiring and just wanted to share my favourite piece called "Cutting the Edge of Beauty". Pretty amazing colours and watercolor work.
