I just wanted to say thank you all.  I have been crappy at being on this blog but tbh, I haven’t been feeling it recently. So I’m going to archive this blog for the time being. Will I come back to it/remake this Souji? Maybe.  For now, if you want to interact with me, i’ll be here.

EVENTUALLY  ,  he  lost  track  of  time  ,  hardly  bothering  to  count  the  hours  down  to  his  freedom  from  life  behind  bars  .  in  all  honesty  ,  to  tohru  adachi  ,  it  was  what  it  was  ;  a  consequence  for  his  selfishness  many  years  back  .  now  that  he’s  once  more  greeted  by  the  light  of  day  ,  what  does  he  do  with  his  freedom  ?  he  had  spent  so  much  time  thinking  about  it   ━  where  he  would  move  .  what  he  would  do   ━  &  whether  or  not  other  people  would  be  a  part  of  it  .   evidently  ,  the  world  always  has  a  way  of  answering  his  questions  ,  even  if  knee  -  jerk  reaction  is  to  deny  the  ones  it  gives  him  ,  to  cast  aside  bonds  …  to  live  without  them  .  but  if  there’s  anything  he’s  learned  throughout  everything  that  has  transpired  …  it’s  that  some  people  have  an  uncanny  way  of  coming  back  ,  even  when  you’ve  cut  them  off  .  the  world  is  always  merciless  …  at  times  with  its  cold  cruelty  ,  &  other  times  ,  with  its  unexpected  warmth  . today  ,  of  all  days  ,  it  comes  in  the  form  of  the  young  boy  (  now  a  man )  whose  soul  mirrored  his  own  .  an  opposite  that  to  this  day  still  awakens  frustration  within  him  ,  not  just  because  he  finds  him  so  pitifully  naive  ,  but  because  since  the  very  beginning  ,  he  hated  how  small  he  felt  before  him  .  he  wanted  so  desperately  to  push  him  away  …  but  something  about  him  just  kept  fighting  him  ;  pulling  him  back  .  he  expected  to  see  dojima  &  nanako  picking  him  up  from  jail  ,  but  he’s  greeted  instead  by  none  other  than  souji  seta  in  a  car  he  has  never  seen  before  . ❝   you  ,    ❞  he  says  ,  his  tone  flat  .   ❝   what  are  you  doing  here  ?   you’re  honestly  the  last  face  i  wanted  to  see  .   ❞

All the events that happened in Inaba seemed like a dream to Souji but he knew they really happened. This was the truth by the fact his friends from that said town still text him a lot. It had lessened recently but he didn’t mind; they had lives which made them very busy. One of the trips back to Inaba - he had time off so it was possible - he was told that Adachi was getting out of jail on the phone by his uncle.

Did it surprise him? Definitely. 

He wasn’t sure what to make of it at first but at the same time, he was willing to forgive him. His friends would call him crazy but even older, he still believed that he could change. So when visiting, he somehow was able to get everyone to make a little party for him and he would be the one to bring him back.

He definitely wasn’t surprised with that reaction when he spotted him. He somewhat sighed but simply shrugged. “I was asked by my uncle to get you.” Okay, that was a little lie but maybe it would make it better than telling he actually volunteered his time to do so.

For a moment there, he considers introducing himself as Akira to see what the other’s reaction would be–Shock or would be expecting it? It’s something that Akira doesn’t care to find out; right at the moment. The smile keeps on his face; a sly smirk before he winks. “Joker–I go by Joker. And you, Mon amie?” 

He wasn’t sure why but he just felt amused and just wanted this - whatever it was - to continue on. “Joker? You sound like a wildcard.” He was referring to the pack of cards, unknowingly saying the truth though with his personas. “Souji. A pleasure to make your acquaintance.” Why, out of all things, did Souji feel like he just wanted to kiss him? He never had such an irrational thought before.   ( @rebellebetrayed )

He was right that Souji was looking for his uncle but it was supposed to be since he forgot his lunch and he was being the good nephew to bring it. He frowned slightly, hearing that he wasn’t around, and it stayed when he was being accused once more. 

“I was looking for my uncle but like you said, he’s not here.” For two seconds, Souji wondered if it was a good thing to ask him to give the lunch to his uncle but he decided on his good judgment. “You can give him this when you see him.” He was about to hand him the wrapped bento but wasn’t sure if he would take it.

That only confirms to him that he doesn’t recognize  him; no use of his name in Souji’s sweet voice nor any recognition in his eyes. Akira, well, he’d recognize him anywhere at this rate; who else had hair like that? Silver; looks soft from even a distance. He grins, smile on his face as he moves to say hello. “Bonjour; I wasn’t expecting company.”

Neither was he but then again, he didn’t even know where they were. “Oh, so does that I mean I’m bothering?” Souji felt some familiarity with the masked person but yet couldn’t think of why that was. He really was thinking about it but instead, he had all his attention on him. “May I get a name from you, masked man?”
