While Landon was more than ready to oblige any request the girl had, he wasn’t expecting the one that was made. A ride out of town? Wow, maybe his assumptions about this place hadn’t been so far-fetched. A small chuckle fell from his lips before he tilted his head to the side, “You want to get out of this place that badly? And here I was trying to give Hollowcrest a chance but you’re not really selling it for me.” He teased before nodding his head in the direction of his car, expecting her to follow him. “An escape, huh? You know… usually, when you’re running from something, your troubles still follow you no matter what. But maybe we could temporarily escape? Find somewhere to forget about all the bullshit in the world for a few hours. How does that sound?” He was in desperate need of a distraction like this too.

“There’s a reason why I haven’t taken a job here. I’m not that good when it comes to selling,” she replied, teasingly. However, she didn’t go into why she hated this place to the extent she did -- if he stuck around, he’d find out soon enough. Nancy didn’t expect him to allow himself to entertain a stranger’s request, but was grateful nonetheless and followed him, catching up to walk beside the male. “You’d actually escape with me?” She said, almost believing him to be leading her to a cruel trick, because why else would he offer. “If you’re serious, then I think you might be my favourite resident so far. Unless you’re going to take me to a quiet corner and kill me... I’ve seen it happen before on television.”

While Landon was almost sure that flying under the radar was the best route for him at this point, keeping things on the down low wasn’t exactly something he was accomplished at. Especially when it came to those in need, no matter if they were human or not – which was harder to tell in a town like this. He cautiously approached the girl that seemed to be having a go at her motorcycle. “I may not have the stereotypical magical knowledge of mechanics like most guys but… I might be able to help you with your bike. My dad used to fix cars and I always watched him working. The motors can’t be that different, can they? If you don’t want to risk me possibly ruining your bike completely, my car’s just down the road and I can give you a ride somewhere.”

Nancy believed it would be more beneficial to keep up her rouse of taking ownership of the motorcycle, especially considering she’d dented the vehicle. Hence why she nodded along to the stranger’s response, as if she were that concerned about the mechanics behind such a useless piece of machinery. “Thanks, that’d be great.” However, her interest perked when he offered her a ride somewhere and she had the perfect place in mind. With a scoff, she crossed her arms and let her eyes wander the street. “Can you give me a ride out of this town?” She knew it wasn’t possible -- her alpha, her father, would go insane if he found out she’d defied his rules, and she wasn’t entirely sure what species she was conversing with. “As lovely as this place is.. or at least as lovely as it seems. I think I need to escape from here for awhile.”

After a long day over at the shop, Graham was headed over to the bar in town to get a drink or two on his way home. His shirt was covered in grease stains and he was sure he probably smelt like gasoline by now. As he spotted the girl he watched in slight amusement wondering just what had ticked her off. “ What did that bike over do to you? “ he asked, with a grin. He nodded as he listened to her the amused grin still present on his features. “ Right… “ he replied. 

Nancy suppressed the urge to explain that the motorcycle belonged to not only her alpha, but her father -- and the excruciating consequences that came with that fact. Lifting her eyes to inspect the stranger, her gaze immediately fell to the stained garment. Coupled with the smell of petroleum, she crinkled her nose as she tried to decide whether the man was a mechanic or something of the sort. It’d be just her luck. “If you must know, that bike and I got into a very heated argument. He just simply wouldn’t realise that I was right the whole time,” she teased, with her lips curling upwards into a smirk. “I say he, because guys never like to admit they’re wrong.”

The werewolf cursed under her breath as her foot collided with the back tire of her alpha’s motorcycle -- that he’d insisted on purchasing in the town. For what reason, Nancy wasn’t certain, but she was certain that she hated the damn thing. A low growl left her lips as she aimlessly beat the machine, delivering swift kicks in a rhythmic fashion. She didn’t come to a halt with her assault until she noticed someone watching her movements out of the corner of her eye. With a sigh, she didn’t bother to get a better look at her audience and instead inspected the dent she’d made in the frame. “Don’t worry about this. It’s, uh, it’s my bike. Although, I didn’t realise I had an audience.”

Being an Earth fairy, it was no surprise that Poppy had a love for plants.  More specifically, as even her name suggested, she loved flowers, which was why she was the proud owner of the biggest flower shop and greenhouse in Hollowcrest.  She took unhealthy or dying plants found around town and, with a little help from her magic, brought them back to life and sold them.  Her most recent case was a rather sad looking hydrangea, and she was mid-spell when she heard the bell over the door ring.  “Just a minute!”  She called as she watched the flower spring back to life.

Nancy was mesmerised by the various colours of the flowers, and found ways to entertain herself while she waited for the owner to reappear. Her fingers gently stroked the petals of a plant she couldn’t name, while making sure she didn’t step anywhere near any aconitum -- she didn’t need the side effects. “Are you almost done?” She called out, impatiently.

Abel had found himself in his normal seat at the bartop, waving his hand at his usual bartender so she could prepare his drinks. This was common, and while he usually had a conversation with her first, he found he just wanted to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. As his drinks arrived though, he set it to his lips and took a small sip, watching closely as someone slumped down next to him like a rock. “You look like you could use a drink,” Abel said, sliding one of the glasses of whiskey toward them with the tips of his fingers. “Drink up. More where that came from.”

Nancy had arrived in the town without purpose -- however, her pack had claimed otherwise. Unfortunately, she’d never been good at following her father’s orders and found herself taking a seat at the bar on the edge of town. Glancing over her shoulder, she took note that none of her ‘family’ were present and relished in that fact alone. It wasn’t until a voice spoke to her that she was dragged from her thoughts, as she turned to face the stranger. “What makes you think I like whiskey?” She said, although she raised the glass to her lips without hesitation. “It’s almost like you’re trying to get me drunk.”

“I’ll call you more when I figure things out,” she said as she got off the phone with her former alpha. Letting out a small sigh, she ran a hand through her hair. “Hopefully this town can give me some answers sooner then later”

“Figure out what things?” The werewolf said with a curiousness in her tone, as she emerged from the shadows. It was clear she had been tailing the female -- Nancy was new in town, and this creature happened to be the first face she’d seen that she didn’t recognise. “I’m curious, blondie.”

Is that ( nina dobrev )? No, that’s just ( nancy fontaine ). She is ( twenty five ) years old, and a ( werewolf ). They are known to be ( considerate) and ( naive ), and they identify as ( cis female ). 

Nancy grew up with a pack of werewolves as she possessed the gene. Her father was the alpha, cruel and unkind - who claimed her mother had abandoned the pack after she was born for an unknown reason. This left a hole in Nancy’s heart that still to this day she is unable to fill.

She fought with her father tremendously, and threatened to leave the pack several times during her teenage years. This was mostly due to the fact that she wanted a normal life, where she could be herself without having to worry about a full moon. She believed she’d been robbed of the chance.

Of course she found her ways to rebel, and regularly would sneak off in the middle of the night to do as she pleased, whether it be to slaughter criminals (the only humans she would kill) or kiss boys her father wouldn’t approve of.

Her father trained her to be a brilliant fighter and she would often spar with the pack when they weren’t hunting in an attempt to improve herself. She didn’t trust the other species, and knew she needed to be on her best form if things were to go sour. Especially when the pack decided to check out Hollowcrest, the supposed town of the supernatural. 

Nancy’s only there to have some fun, and doesn’t care much about finding out what else the town has to offer. However, she’ll do whatever it takes to protect her pack and will often show kindness towards any younger people she runs into.
