Juniper felt almost weak as she pulled away from the man who had once given her so much comfort. She stared at him, trying to find hatred but it was so hard when all she could see was Nate. Roommate.Ā He was a damn bodysnatcher. A demon.Ā āIf you laid a finger on my daughter, Iāll kill you,ā she instinctually stated, stepping even closer to the thing in front of her.Ā āWere you the reason he never came home that night?ā
āOh, I would never dream of laying a finger on her.Ā Not unless she were to start it.āĀ Alastair replied with a slight smile.Ā Despite how tough she was trying to act, he could see the pain in her eyes, and it was absolutely delightful to him.Ā Ā āGuilty as charged.ā
If there was one thing Andrew needed, it was coffee to survive. Heād started drinking it back in high school, since it made it easier for him to stay awake in class. This had followed him to college, and now, he was pretty sure if someone took a blood test, theyād find coffee running through his veins. Due to this, heād made his way over to the local cafe to go get some. After ordering, he looked around to see if there were any free tables. There werenāt. However, there were empty seats at taken tables. Coffee in hand, Andrew made his way over to one of the tables, since he wasnāt going to stand there and wait for someone to leave.Ā āUmā¦ā He started off, wondering how to phrase it.Ā āCould Iā¦is anyone sitting there?ā However at the instruction to sit, he pulled out the chair and sat down.Ā āThank you.ā
Margot really couldnāt see why the coffee shop was so crowded, but she supposed that it was mostly occupied by people like her who needed a cup of coffee in order to get anything done.Ā Though the boy in front of her was no doubt young, she could tell that it was the case for him as well.Ā āNot a problem.āĀ She replied as she typed a few things into her laptop, not even bothering to look up from the screen.Ā She really wasnāt much for small talk, so if she could avoid it as much as possible, she would be happy.
Elliot turned at the sound of someoneās voice, initially confused as there didnāt seem to be anything strange going on around him, though as his eyes settled on the figure, he recognized the otherās panic. He wouldnāt forget the one week heād found himself in such a situation, although perhaps for the stranger, this was more permanent. Should he just break the news to him straight? āWhatās the last thing you remember?ā
The sound of another manās voice caused Simon to temporarily snap out of his shock, despite his fear, and he turned to look at him.Ā Ā āThe last thing I remember?āĀ He repeated, taking a moment to collect his thoughts before answering.Ā Ā āI-I was driving home, I heard a car honking and saw headlights, and then I woke up here.Ā Is that normal?ā
Despite being one of the only lawyers in Hollowcrest, Margot still did everything she could to make sure she was still a damn good one. So, she frequented the local cafe with her laptop and a steady flow of coffee. Today was a particularly busy day, and she noticed several people trying to find seats. "If you want to sit, do it. Don't just hover, that won't help anyone."
Julian wasnāt normally a messy eater, but sometimes his meals squirmed a little too much and he got a little bit of blood on his face.Ā He thought heād gotten all of it, but a second opinion never hurt.Ā Ā āDo I have anything on my face?āĀ He asked, turning to his little sister.
āIs drinking too much caffeine bad for your health?Ā Because the baristas at the coffee shop are starting to know me by name, and I canāt help but think thatās a bad sign.ā
Simon often tended to overthink things, so when he woke up in a new place all of a sudden he had no idea what to think.Ā His first thought was that he had been abducted, but surely he wouldnāt be able to walk around town freely if that had been the case.Ā The Englishman took a moment to get his bearings before approaching someone, reaching out to tap them on the shoulder when his hand went through them.Ā He took a step back, eyes wide in horror, and looked at his transparent hand.Ā Ā āWhat on Earth is going on?!ā
āOkay..huh?ā Daniel let a faint smile touch his lips and turned his face to look at the woman, his eyes taking in all the tiny, little details about the way she presented herself. āIāve been told itās quite..great and safe. How long have you been in here?ā
āOh yeah, itās wonderful.āĀ Margot rolled her eyes, taking anther sip of her drink.Ā Ā āLook, Iām a city person.Ā Being shacked up in the middle of nowhere really isnāt my thing.Ā But Iāve been here a few years.ā
Is that Hugh Skinner? No, thatās just Simon Thornhill. He is 67 years old, and a ghost. They are known to be friendly and reserved, and they identify as cis-male.
Simon was born on June 23rd, 1951 in Liverpool, England.Ā He was known around town to be a kind young man, but he often kept to himself.Ā His father was never in the picture, so it was only him and his mother, which honestly he was fine with.
He was a very bright young man and always did well in school, so it came as a surprise to no one when he decided to attend school at Cambridge University.
It was at school where he met the love of his life, Amelia.Ā Granted, he met her by bumping into her in a cafe and spilling soup all over her blouse, but she had a good sense of humor about it and Simon was immediately smitten.
The two of them graduated in 1973, and the night of their graduation, Simon proposed.Ā He got a job teaching English, and they had been married for a few years before Amelia gave birth to their daughter Shannon in 1976.Ā The three of them were as happy as a family could be.
In 1979, when Shannon was three and Simon was twenty-eight, he was driving home from a late meeting heād had when a drunk driver ran a stop sign and hit his car, killing him instantly.
He really doesnāt remember anything past then, but while most ghosts materialized right after they died, Simon was.. delayed.Ā He only just recently woke up in Hollowcrest, and he has no idea how much time passed.
He also has no idea that his wife Amelia died of breast cancer fifteen years ago, or that his daughter Shannon is now forty-two years old and has a twenty year-old son named Jeremy.Ā Soo yeah, heās a grandpa and has literally no idea.
Possible Connections:
His daughter, Shannon.Ā Sheās a human, and any fc works for her as long as she could physically be 42.
His grandson, Jeremy.Ā Again, any fc is fine as long as he could pass for 20!
Is that Karen David?Ā No, thatās just Margot Khatri.Ā She is 326 years old, and a fire fairy.Ā They are known to be driven and dismissive, and they idetify as cis-female.
She hates all of theĀ āfairies are dainty flower girlsā stereotypes.Ā For as long as she can remember, sheās been a no-nonsense woman.
She was born to two fire fairies, and all her life her parents taught her to channel her inner fire and not let anyone walk over her.Ā The fact that she has four older brothers, Devon, Campbell, and James, made it even worse for her.Ā The whole family was as close as they could be, regardless.
They lived among humans for most of their lives, travelling the US every few years so they didnāt draw suspicion to themselves.Ā Most recently, they were living in Atlanta, Georgia together in a very nice suburb.
She was always good at controlling her powers, but the youngest of her older brothers, James, struggled with them.Ā She tried to tutor him, but being an inexperienced fire fairy is never a good thing.Ā Her brother was practicing late at night, when suddenly he lost control of his power and their house burst into flames.Ā Only Margot and her brother Campbell were able to make it out, everyone else died in the fire, including James.
Margot still loved her brother, and obviously didnāt blame him for anything since heād done nothing wrong, but she just couldnāt bear to be near him after what happened.Ā After all, she was the one who hadnāt properly trained her brother, so in a way she couldnāt help but blame herself.
After that, she moved across the country to San Francisco, California, where she became a defense attorney.Ā Again, every few years, she moved around the West Coast.Ā When the video came out and supernaturals were exposed, she decided it couldnāt hurt to move to one of the safe towns, so she made the trip out to Hollowcrest and has been there ever since.
Charlotte shook her head softly pulling back just enough as she wiped away her own tears. No one could do that for her now.Ā āI have so much to be sorry for.Ā If I did so many things differently. Iād still be with you at home.ā
āListen to me, okay?Ā You didnāt do anything wrong.Ā I shouldāve told you about what I was before.Ā If I hadnāt acted like a wimp, youād still be here.āĀ Hayden shook his head as a tear rolled down his cheek.
ethan let out a snort.Ā āyeah, youāre practically dust, buddy. but, all the power to you. honestly, iām more impressed that you managed to keep track of how old you are. is there, like, a contest going on as to who can stay alive the longest?ā he teased.
āWell, Iām the best looking pile of dust Iāve ever seen.āĀ Julian chuckled softly, moving a strand of curly hair out of his eyes.Ā Ā āItās not that hard to keep track if you remember the year you were born, which I do. There isnāt a competition as far as I know, but if there were, my brother would be winning.ā
Scrunching up her nose at him for a moment, she soon follows with a roll of her eyes. āOf course y-you werenāt, and Iām just a famous actress.ā Tilly responds as she crosses her arms over her chest. āWell, wouldnāt you like to know? That answer lies in the business of mine and his.ā She states harshly, her light accent slipping out.
āAre you really? Thatās-āĀ Asher cut himself off, pursing his lips together slightly.Ā Ā āThat was sarcasm, I realize that now.āĀ He let out a sift sigh and shoved his hands in his pockets.Ā Ā āRight, of course, itās none of my business.Ā But regardless, Iām quite good at helping people, so if you would like me too...ā
āOf course Iāve got a point, I know this town like the back of my hand.ā She responds and sits herself down.Ā āWhat were you practicing on the Guitar?ā
āIām sure thatās true.āĀ Hayden chuckled softly and shrugged.Ā Ā āIām just strumming, really.Ā Nothing specific.ā
