Noticed for the first time on this Bahumia listen that Jake is the first boob who makes an effort to remember and include Balnor. Murph spends a few episodes reminding the boobs they have a new party member, then Hardwon starts engaging him in-character unprompted and things really start moving. He helps lay the foundation of Balnor's character quirks more than Beverly; hell, Jake gives him the moniker 'Balnor the Brave'! Idk I know watching Jake fall in love with d&d real time is an appeal for naddpod s1 in general, but this felt like catching a glimpse of his own out of character kindness in action

This is my chance. With Caldwell's sudden absence the rest of the two crew are scrambling for content, they're distracted. I sneak into 2CrewHQ crawling through the vents until I drop into Murphs office. I reach for his laptop, I know his password: 'wormwife', it's time to rewrite his C3 finale notes.

A hand stops mine as the laptop is almost in my grasp. I look up and see a security guard, the only one I missed. He's wearing an impeccable Jim Carrey Grinch costume, or heck...

We done told Meemaw not to go on no more adventures. We said at her, "Listen, Meemaw, you are 83 goddamn years old and the doctor says you can't go on no more adventures, it's bad for your ticker." But she done got up her hauberk and that god-killin axe of hers and went right out there and fuckin died and now I gotta go back out there to the dragon's lair with the Staff of Resurrection after her ass *again*.

Fia Boginya! From the Eldermourne arc of naddpod. No one got this, but I think it turned out pretty great. I will probably redo the teeth for next time though. I made four different pairs before deciding on these. They weren't really uncomfortable to wear, but they did make it hard to talk. Floating Bukvar was the main challenge, but I just ended up using 14 gauge wire anchored in the sword's shoulder strap to hold him up.

I also didn't pay attention to the tattoo directions and put them on right when I was getting into costume, not realizing they darken over time.

Some details on the book belt. Volk, the bitey book, is my favorite. I might try putting some beasty texture on the cover for next time.

I think the thing about shipping in naddpod is like. always always always so important that any added romantic dimension to a relationship does not inherently result in a more intimate or meaningful relationship - that was already there outside of any explicitly romantic feelings. in adding a romantic dimension, all that’s really happening is a shift in the specific type of intimacy and meaning, not a shift in the fundamental core of the relationship. a lot of them just deserve to get to make out with people who genuinely love them more ok
