reading concepts over and over again because there's just too much to memorize 🙃
also, why do i feel like i wasted the past 4 months even though I've been studying 😣
Day 8/100 of Productivity
I made a video of me working as a study with me kinda thing, but it got deleted 😮💨
Anyway still doing my GRE flashcards. I took a pre-test for the verbal section and got an "average" score which is not a bad start, but I can do better.

In the midst of researching my dissertation. Putting in all the effort I can.

Got a foldable mini desk today ! We don’t have a flat that’s big enough for a study area so I’m always having to study in bed (I know all the tips say not to do that but not everyone has the facilities to avoid it, especially in lockdown). This is going to be life changing for studying at home. I love it so much. It’s perfect for holding my laptop and all my study materials steady and preventing my back and neck from aching.
first snow
I hope you all had a lovely festive winter break (if you had one at all). If you’re at all like me this time of year can be very hard; if it was I hope you found some peace in these last few weeks despite everything. I had a couple of weeks off from the internet world –– coming back feeling a lot more clear-headed and wondering if maybe this is something I should take up more. Are you thinking about resolutions yet, promises for the new year? Any good ones? For now I’m just enjoying cold walks, a little fresh coffee, wrapping up in bed with a good book 🕊🕯✨
time check: 1:31am. it was a good study session. all I needed was a nap. good night 🌌
feb. 3 ‘21 - well i’m halfway into the second week of the semester & my classes seem to be going ok. in the gender & women’s studies class i’m taking we’re currently reading feminism is for everybody by bell hooks, and i’m enjoying it. in other news, my fig tree grew a few new leaves 🌿
Day 7/100 of Productivity
I think I'm on the right day???
Today, I'm working more on the GRE verbal section and my flashcards! I really find it therapeutic to be doing something that isn't my job again.
I've also been phone banking for a friend of mine that's running for office but nobody wants to talk to me 😅 any tips on volunteering for campaigns would be super helpful!
I have a meeting at 1pm with the DSA and a meeting a 7pm with my local religious group. Both are action planning committees so I'm going to spend a little while brainstorming today.
