I really need to get this off my chest. The Mem Hat situation in Honkai: Star Rail is so incredibly frustrating, and honestly, the community’s reaction to it has been even worse.

This hat isn't just a random accessory—it’s deeply connected to Cyrene and the whole Amphoreus aesthetic. For those of us who love the lore, it feels like a piece of the world is just... missing.

It is so unfair for:

Busy players: I have a life, responsibilities, and moments where I simply cannot play. Being locked out of a cosmetic forever because I was busy during one specific month is just bad game design.

New players: Imagine joining for Amphoreus and being told "sorry, you missed the coolest thematic item because you didn't start 6 months ago."

I’ve tried the official route. I emailed Hoyoverse support multiple times, but I only ever get a cold, robotic auto-reply. They aren't even listening.

And when I tried to talk about this on HoYoLAB, the response was just... cruel. I was met with so much ignorance and mean-spirited comments. People there act like wanting a permanent shop for cosmetics is "entitlement," when in reality, I’m literally asking for a way to support the game and pay for the item. Since when is wanting to be a customer "crazy"?

Artificial scarcity doesn’t make an item "cool"—it just rewards gatekeeping and punishes players for having a life outside the game.

Hoyo, please stop ignoring us. Bring the Mem Hat to a permanent shop. 💖
