“well if you ever need someone to eat with you you can always ask me ! i’d hate for you to be alone when you don’t like it.” he said with a soft smile. “you have something for me?” the younger furrowed his brows in confusion before a bright smile crept on to his lips at the sight of the canvas. “oh wow!” he giggled taking it from her, staring at in awe and admiration, “this…” he began looking the canvas over. the colors were pretty and vibrant, but also soft and eloquent, one of the most beautiful things he’d ever see, “i love this, i love it so much thank you,” impulsively the younger pulled her into a tight hug, “it’s so beautiful.”
nari smiled shyly at the others comment. if only tai knew how many times she’d almost asked if he was free to eat and then whimpered out.. after giving him the canvas she watched his face as he looked over her work, somewhat surprised at his enthusiasm and hoping he truly liked it. nari wasn’t always confident in the things that left her brush, nothing she painted could live up to the beautiful memories and ideas that sprung in her head. she smiled brightly at the complement on her piece, she was pretty sure now tai really did like it and wasn’t just trying to be nice! content, she opened her mouth to speak when in the next moment she felt his arms around her! at first she didn’t know how to respond, it all took her by surprise! “awww!” she beamed “i’m glad you like it!” her insides gave a flutter like a bird, being able to make others happy made her even happier. she wrapped her small arms around him, with a grin quite possibly the size of the cheshire’s smile “i was afraid you weren’t going to like it” she said relieved.
