hi i’m a black bi woman with a severe personality disorder in need of a new laptop. i have been using my mum’s one but as my work placement gets more demanding and my third year at uni begins, i realised i need my own. my parents have helped me a little but they can only give me so much and i still need £800. if anyone could donate anything or even reblog this post it would be greatly appreciated. i hate to ask as i kno we’re living thru a global pandemic and there are a lot of people struggling, but it would help me out a lot if i could get this laptop for work and uni. thank u for reading this 🥰💞🥰💞

this situation should remind you all that black women dont always need to be "strong black women" because i keep seeing ppl say jada should learn to take a joke or that she shouldve gone up there because will fighting her battles is enforcing toxic masculinity or whatever you lot are saying.

black women almost never have anyone fighting for them or backing them up, they always have to fight for themselves. i have noticed its mostly white women who keep calling this a product of toxic masculinity when white women have been coddled and seen as "dainty little things who need protection at all times" whereas black women must fight for everyone else and themselves. black women have no obligation to withstand humiliation because it has been going on for too long and at this point everybody needs to start fighting for them because they do the work for everybody else
