Well, this was a pleasant message to stumble upon.  If by “fucking freak” you mean biologist, then ok.  

I’m quite appalled by the sexist sentiment- am I a freak for loving the natural world?  Am I a freak for loving a group of organisms you obviously know nothing about?  Or am I a freak for being a woman scientist?   This.  This comment was made by another woman!  @zaynisaac, do yourself a favor, and get a little bit of an education.  I welcome you to stick around and learn something about biology- or better yet- not publicly shaming a fellow woman for being a scientist in a field you don’t understand.  

Normally I’d ignore this kind of blatant ignorance, but sometimes I get in a mood, and it’s fun to put it on blast to the 170,000 fellow “fucking freaks” at my fingertips.
