apparently the larries need help understanding how facial muscles and angles work.
in the first picture, briana is pouting because she’s taking a selfie. that means she’s posing, intentionally, to emphasise her features, including her lips/mouth. literally everyone does this. i have a small/thin mouth and i pout slightly in pretty much all my selfies to show it off.
now, in the second, there are different factors at work. this is a pap picture, it’s quite possible that briana was not expecting it - and even if she was, she can’t see how she looks in the picture. it’s perfectly reasonable for her to smile in a way which flattens her lips in that way, especially since her mouth is closed and it’s possible she was uncomfortable with the paparazzi attention.
in the first image, again, briana is posing at a different angle from the second. her nose looks smaller because it’s at a different angle and it’s intended to be a more flattering picture of her. briana has a long nose and while i and many people would say it’s lovely, on a societal and cultural level women are made to feel self-conscious about large, wide, or long noses. again, briana is posing in a way which she considers herself to look attractive/pretty.
this is in contrast to the second picture where for the third time i will note, briana probably didn’t expect a picture to be taken and could not see it for herself. her nose looks longer because the picture was taken by someone else with her head turned more towards her profile, compared to the first where briana’s nose blends into her cheek and is pointing closer towards the camera.
finally, my dear larries, i understand that many of us - especially those wlw amongst us - internalise misogynistic ideas and project our vulnerabilities (read: our same gender attraction especially)ronto male characters or celebrities. i’ve definitely been there. nevertheless, the appalling misogyny on display in this post is inexcusable.
you are accusing a young mother of having plastic surgery during or immediately after her pregnancy, because you think she is a money-grabbing gold digger. i would first question - do you really think a responsible doctor would allow her to do so during pregnancy? and secondly, even if she had had plastic surgery afterwards, why do you care? that’s her business and your judgement is both unwarranted and rude. don’t even get me started on the unfair, untrue, and horribly sexist image of the ‘gold digger’ that you are all unashamedly pushing on her with little no evidence.
this post is textbook misogyny. i think the commenters above should take some time to think about why they felt the need to make such misogynistic and uncalled-for comments.
