oh! to that other anon about blending in photoshop, i had the same experience when i first started but the default chalk brushes with 75% flow are my best friends! and lots of eyedropper to color pick :>

hi! i really love your art and would like to try out photoshop but i am having trouble blending ; v ; is there a specific way you do it or specific brush setting? also which version of photoshop do you use?

HIYA ANON!! firstly, thank you so much! blending with photoshop requires a lot of patience from what i’ve experienced but i can’t really compare it to other programs since it’s the only one i’ve actively used for many years now! i’m currently using photoshop CC however i’ve used cs3-6 and earlier versions however I recommend at least cs3+ ^^ these are my brush settings and the way I blend is using the opacity option!! you can change the opacity of your brush pretty easily by pressing the number keys on your keyboard while using the brush tool. I also use the eyedropper a lot in between to smooth out the colours as well (the short cut on mac for eye dropped is alt/option). Its a lot of patience and time consuming but I like the look of it and also find it really therapeutic LOL I hope i explained the process okay! It’s a bit confusing without showing it but I always forget to take screen caps while im painting ><;;
