The more I sit with it, the more I hate the ending of Wheel of Time. It took me 4 years to finish it, taking breaks every so often to read other books. It very much was my comfort series that I could always come back to, with characters I had grown to love and while I don’t think it’s reasonable for every character to have a happy ending I really hate how tacked on and empty the epilogue of A Memory of Light feels.
