Hard things are relative. It's becoming a reoccurring theme and I'm seeing it everywhere. The water called me. I heard it. My body wanted it. I knew I would feel good after it. So I did it. It was a challenge but it actually wasn't that HARD for me. A mistake in challenging ourselves is holding the assumption that everyone finds the same things hard. Hard is hard for you. Maybe fasting is hard for you. Maybe enduring Canadian winters is hard for you. Maybe workout consistently is hard for you. Maybe giving up cigarettes or sex is hard for you. Maybe speaking your mind is hard for you. Maybe sitting in front of a computer for hours on end is hard for you. Only you know what feels hard for you. Oh, and whatever feels easy (or easier, or more attainable) for you, might be hard for your neighbour. Remember that. Regardless of the hard task, the process of getting better at it is doing that thing more often because one thing that seems to be true for everyone is: THE MORE YOU DO HARD THINGS THE EASIER THEY GET. (It's why taxes once a year never seem to get easier). (at Plage De Verdun) https://www.instagram.com/p/CN43iZGjUgS/?igshid=yvh60jll2xjj
