Anti-Racist Resource Guide
Resource is from victoriaalxndr on Twitter!
I hope black women out there are doing okay. There has been a lot of brutality and senseless hatred in the news. It is tiring. Iâve seen planned protests on my socials, and that may have been enticing in the past, but today...
I will not march, nor go outside and hold up a flag and shout. I am not a man nor a warrior princessâstop expecting this of black women. I care very much for our lives (especially women, who are publicized less), but there is nothing feminine about dying on the front line.
I can protest economically, study court law, donate time/support for women, and protect children. This is more effective for me as a woman than being unprotected on the streets. I incite more of us to avoid risking our lives.
Black women should have the right to be soft, feminine, and delicate without it being seen as controversial and against the movement. During this time I believe black people should do whatever is best for them emotionally, financially, and mentally as protesting is NOT for everyone. Especially during a global pandemic. The cops do not care if you are a woman. Numerous women out protesting have lost their babies due to police brutality. Children have been tear gassed.. Black women we must put our safety and protection first. We must be the safety and protection of our children FIRST.
Agreed. The future of the Black race lies in our wombs(if youâre into that kind of thing). Putting ourselves through unnecessary stress and adversity only means to hinder our health and hinder the health of our children. Protecting ourselves and the children absolutely come first. #stayhomeblackwomen

To all my black followers and friends, stay safe.
Also, I would like to add that black lives have always mattered, will always matter.
Itâs awful that we even have to say that because it should be a given. However, we need to say it loud and clear for the racists.
We cannot be silent.Â
