I chose this artwork because it gives me mixed feelings about it. Looking at the painting and diving deeper into the picture I realized the faith you have in God will overcome any war or anything that is against you. He sacrificed his own son for us.

You may not know but, I am not the best artist, creator or builder; however, I thought of a digital print focusing on me being just a girl into becoming a woman! looking  at this collage is a manifestation of looking into my future! My name is Natavia as you look deeper into the prints I decided to explain what defines me .I want more out of life , I want more out of Florida, I want to blossom into this beautiful thing called life, I want to be loved correctly, I want to live healthier, I want to cherish god from above for helping me strive to be this woman I manifest to be. I chose pink because it means love , nurturing, and compassion which explains me.Pink also symbolizes good health which I always pray to stay. I also Chose pink because “I’m literally just a girl.”

ART PORJECT

This is abstract digital painting that is very inspiring tome is of my kids with two different personalities. The left of the drawing explains so my son so well he is always on the go. I use the shade of light blue in the background because he is so calming and sweet yet healing to me. I am very protective of him the purple also represents peace over him. Now on the right we have my daughter The purple out line her as royalty also her name is Reign which means Royalty. My daughter sense power she is very strong minded, speaks what feels and say what she wants without holding back. The dark purple as her whole body as one signifies creativity, she has a wonderful imagination. Green in yellow I added to both sides because its growth I see in both my kids and warmth and happiness my kids give me. Putting the whole picture together explains my artwork "ME IN TINY HUMAN FORM"

1.Writing, Thinking, And Looking Critically

Jackson Pollock drip paintings was used for his big major artwork. He stated in the video he, "His painting is direct." He likes to express his feelings rather than illustrating them. Watching him stick a brush or a stick into paint bucket and instantly go to work is outstanding. It's like as soon as he splattered or drip on to the canvas a light switch went on in his head. Brilliant! His loose brush work explains how effortless he made it look to create such beauty. He stated to do layers over his painting till all you see is splatters and drips of painting, but the dripping and splattered of his painting was controlled as u can see in some art, he let some of the art underneath be seen.

CONNECTING ART TO YOUR WORLD

Color has affected my life so much I would not understand living in black and white. Color brings life literally, color brings expressions, colors are moody. Bright warm colors like hue colors yellow,red orange usually means happiness or energy. Value of cool colors are blue, green, and purple.My personal panel of colors would be yellow, light blue, purple, and black.

Journaling

This is a modern type of living you would see in homes that are basically show rooms my mom had a friend that had two livings but the living room that was decorated like this was off limits, meaning no one could sit, touch, or be in this living room.This to me as an asymmetrical living room depending where you are standing you would see a different vision of the living room.I see the balance of the this living room the colors even out through out the space. it is a set tone. Also the warm color is giving with a slight of intensity with the gray.

This kitchen is based off art the way they did each cabinet with color that was warm, coming into this kitchen one would sense happiness, joy, or just life. This is a bright room that would fulfill one with so much feeling that it can not be explained. Me honestly i think it is very tacky, it is to color for me. I see the scale and proportion of the art work on the wall and the art on the rail of the stair cause. I feel as they made the stair case rail pop out more because of its design and how in tune it is; however, the proportion of it is how both designs in relationship to each other how they both some how symbyozies upward towards the stairs.

This is a picture of Bob Marley expressing a man that is full of life. The colors in the background each have a meaning. Red justify the blood of those killed for the cause of the black community. Yellow for the sun, green for the land and black for the people. This art work is a message for the Jamaican community.The liens in the background echos the outline of him.The focal point is BOB MARLEY.

Contemporary art This art work shows so many different type of expressions.The physical and balance correspond to the ground how it is leaning a little forward but have his balance at the same time. Thus artwork looks like it is made of small colorful objects that a long time with patience to create.The scale of this panting is the subject they created which is a person but the proportion of it is the color objects that creates the whole thing.

I wanna start by the image of the lady sitting on the side of the bed, look at her gesture she looks like a black tired woman.The lines sculpting out of her arms how one shoulder is up and one is down, how her head is tilted downward shows an emotion of overwhelmed. The colors in the background light blue, dark blue, white,etc. Those colors usually mean calm and relaxation; however, this is not the case.

ART PROJECT (SELF-PORTRAIT)

These two pictures show exactly who I am! The first picture shows you as the viewer that I AM JUST GIRL! I am confident, hardworking, pretty, and a driven individual who isn't afraid to face any challenges. The second picture also explains me well, a mom trying to get herself together for her kids even with tears in her eyes. A mother job is never done through sickness and health, my kids know they will have everything that fulfill them with love. As a single parent it will get tough, but I got this. Like that saying goes," When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade." When you put both of these pictures together creating an image in your head of me, one will think I am a bomb a** person. What fascinates me the most about my life is no matter what I go through, my mindset is always keeping me in check. A storm will sometimes seem to approach you some time in life but trust it will not last forever because there is a rainbow usually always after a storm.

ART AND WRITING

Every day I wake up and look at this beautiful artwork and realize a woman has a lot of capability to be so much more they won't allow their self to be. This artwork shows a lot, for instance the glitter in the background means generosity and compassion it also can mean what is fake and not real symbolism. My concept is i understand everything is an image a woman dreams of manifesting; however, it's a reality that me as a woman can become better. The wine symbolizes a taste of class,etc. In my mind we as woman are more than materialistic things, this image serves a woman of fashion of book smart; however, I also see this art as a woman becoming better by educating herself, having confident in herself, body language speak values, and it's okay to be just a girl. The pearl's giving dignity. This picture to me is very beautiful because gives very different moods and I'm okay with every aspect of this painting; however, as a woman I can never be defined and that's the beauty of it!

3.Looking at the art I kind of had the same mindset as the painting. Reading the painting and learning about it they get into colors the artist use, lines,etc. The artist makes you look way past just the picture it gives one a different insight.
