Nnghnsbs, this Arrtx watercolor paper isn't so bad, and I believe this is the first time using hot press watercolor paper (if my other watercolor sketchbooks isn't one; because, of course, I forgot to check the information attached to the plastic wrapping g them ππ )! Of course, I had to check out the paper by drawing my OC, Dahlia, and a reference pose I found on Pinterest.
It was a pose I'm not too familiar with and I had to fix the head from looking too big, ahahahaha π . Thankfully, it worked out! And of course, as usual, I just wanted to do a gradient background and leave it alone to finish coloring Dahlia, but then... π I only continue on by making clouds with a dark blue and then went on coloring up the sky πππ. Definitely fun though π₯°β¨οΈ!
Dahlia is my most oldest OC since middle school (what I like to call the HOME AU) and rarely showed her (and my other OCs) here in Tumblr. She went through a lot of changes and was also created through the changes of my life. These changes, for one, created her twin, Ryka, who has echoes of Dahlia's old design. Which makes sense from the changes of her name and the connected split of her soul becoming twins.
Riryuki -> Riaku (old design and names) = Ryka Eos
Skyla (changed from doing her background) = Dahlia Dawn
Maybe one day I'll share even more especially on the redraw I did of their old design. You'll definitely see the times based on it π.
