Anya loved the way that people spoke about the people they loved. Watching them gush about them without even realising just how much they were giving away was actually adorable. âShe does have a beautiful smile, that much I can see.â She agreed. âIt seems you really like her, thatâs really cuteâ She said, though she suspected he probably wasnât called cute a lot in his life. Anya laughed, âThereâs no chance of that happening, though I know how much youâd love that.â She said shaking her head. Nothing would ever give her enough reason to use her powers in public. Nothing except maybe Litha in trouble.Â
Nathaniel allowed a very small smile to creep onto his lips, and just for a second, as Anya spoke of Eliza. âIt lights up a room,â he concurred with a stern nod. âMe? Cute? No... no, dolly. You must have me confused with someone else.â A tiny laugh escaped him as he shook his head lightly. âIn fact, Iâd like you not to tell others... I like being one of the only ones in the know.â His smirk had turned more devilish than friendly as his brown eyes pierced into hers.
