Right around #sunset is one of the most epic times to #climb and to shoot in #Kalymnos. The sun drops low on the horizon and lights up the sky. I love it here. It’s one of my favorite places on the planet. Helping @cbaileyspeed and @boonespeed with their #urbanclimbingproject for @prana over the last week has been icing on the cake. #LovingLiving. It’s on a cliff called Glaros, on a platform a few hundred feet above the ocean on #Telendos, just offshore of #Kalymnos. This epic #sportclimb rocks through 30 meters of jugs, the first half of which are on a 45 degree overhang. Been hanging out with a bunch of Austrians this last week here in #Kalymnos, including this guy, Gerhard Hörhager, one of the original rock gods and a total legend. He’s still crushing 5.14 on a regular basis, but he got schooled in arm wrestling by Dimitri, local tavern owner and arm wrestling boss. Gerhard went back for seconds and thirds, explaining that the 2-second fight was something that needed to be experienced. Dimitri finally lost a match (it was a bit lopsided — 4 versus 1).
