All of my life I loved being around Mulas
They’re so CALM and comforting if I have a child I hope it will have mula placements so it’s just peace everyday
And one thing about mula is their lack of maliciousness if they don’t like you they will just tell you straight up how it is
If you want to learn how to mind your business go hang around mulas
Nakshatra Observation Series Part XIII
Mula: The "Catastrophic" Root
The Core Vibe: "The Controlled Demolition"
I have observed that Mula energy is the vibration of unwanted truth. It is ruled by Ketu (detachment/loss) in the fiery, expansive sign of Sagittarius (Jupiter). The vibe is not "warmth", it is an "incinerator." When you are around a Mula native, you feel a sense of instability, like the floor might drop out from under you. They carry the energy of the Goddess Nirriti (Calamity/Destruction). They are the "Tower Card" of the tarot in human form. They don't just solve problems, they uproot the entire foundation to make sure the problem never comes back. It feels raw, exposed, and dangerously authentic.
Physiognomy & Facial Structure
The "Wolfish" Grin: The symbol is a bundle of roots, but Mula rules the mouth/teeth physically. I have frequently observed that Mula natives have very prominent, often large or slightly chaotic teeth. When they smile, it looks predatory, not in a sneaky way, but in a "I could bite you" way. It is a wide, gum-baring grin that feels more wild than polite.
The "Wild" Stare: Unlike the sleepy Ketu eye of Magha, the Mula Ketu eye looks "crazed" or hyper-focused on the invisible. I have noticed they often have a "thousand-yard stare." They look past you, not because they are dissociating (Revati), but because they are looking at the cause of your behavior rather than your face. It is a penetrating, uncomfortable gaze that strips you naked. 😂
The "Disheveled" Aesthetic: Even when they try to dress up, there is always something slightly "undone" about them. Nirriti is the anti-Lakshmi (anti-beauty). I have observed that Mula natives resist perfection. Their hair is messy, their shirt is untucked, or they have a scar on display. They have a "survivor" aesthetic, rugged, raw, and unpolished.
The "Long" Limb: Sagittarius is the Archer/Horse. I have noticed Mula natives often have unexpectedly long limbs or a "lanky" build. They look like they have been stretched on a rack. Their physical frame feels like it is barely containing the explosive energy inside.
Somatic & Movement Patterns
The "Crash" Landing: They are the clumsiest of the fire signs. I have observed that Mula natives move with zero spatial awareness of their own destruction. They knock over vases, trip over cords, and slam doors without meaning to. They are "bulls in a china shop." Their energy is so expansive (Jupiter) and disconnected (Ketu) that they literally miscalculate their own physical edges.
The "Rooted" Stance: When they are angry or making a point, they do not pace (Jyeshtha). They plant their feet. I have noticed they have a very heavy, grounded stance when threatened. They look like a tree that refuses to be moved by the storm. You physically cannot push them over.
The "Guttural" Sound: Their laugh is distinct. It is loud, abrupt, and comes from the gut. I have observed that they make raw noises, groans, sighs, and barks of laughter. They are not quiet people. They occupy the acoustic space with the sound of their own raw existence.
Behavioral & Psychological "Tells"
The "Truth" Vomit: They lack a filter. I have observed that Mula natives are physically incapable of holding back a "hard truth." If you ask "Do I look fat in this?", they will say "Yes, and it’s because you eat too much sugar." They don't do it to be mean, they do it because they value the "Root" (the truth) over the "Flower" (politeness). They are the "rude" awakeners.
The "Reset" Addiction: They are addicted to blowing up their own lives. I have noticed that every 7-10 years, a Mula native will destroy everything, quit the career, dump the partner, move to a shack in the woods, just to see if they can survive it. They derive confidence from surviving their own self-manufactured apocalypses.
The "Detective" Obsession: They need to get to the bottom of things. I have observed they are obsessed with origins. They are the ones asking "But why did your mother do that?" in a casual conversation. They dig. They pick at scabs. They are not satisfied with surface-level answers; they want to pull the weed out by the root, even if it destroys the garden.
The "Rejection" Shield: Nirriti is the goddess of rejection. I have noticed Mula natives often feel deeply, karmically rejected by society or family. In response, they develop a "You can't fire me, I quit" attitude. They reject you before you can reject them. They wear their "outsider" status like a badge of honor.
Thank you!
honestly are there any pros to mula nakshatra? i find when ppl have 1st or 10th house ruler in mula its basically a promise of defamation and ppl humiliating the native
Well I wouldn’t go as far to say it promises defamation
Mula nakshatra is unapologetic to such an extreme that they put the least amount of effort into hiding the problematic parts of their personality
Whether they’re consciously aware of it or not, they are probably the least righteous nakshatra (as opposed to other destructive nakshatras like Ardra or Purva Bhadrapada) and can actually be quite offensive at times. The controversy and infamy is just a natural consequence of that
This is not because they’re worse than any other placement, but you have to understand that Mula represents the non-dual “root” of reality that exists separately from political/social constructs and standards.
Mula is connected to the most erotic primal part of the psyche. This can manifest as a dominating hunger which wants others to surrender themselves to the native, much like how a black hole sucks in matter. However they also have the unconscious power to bring out this nature in others, and hence can be targets of humiliation themselves
The beauty of Mula is in its ability to strip something down to its bare fundamentals. Does that mean they’re always grounded in reality? Well no. But in an age of overstimulation and hysteria, Mula’s indifference can be incredibly grounding.
If Jyestha is a high-cortisol nakshatra of competitive social climbing and jealousy, Mula is the great clearing out of Jyestha’s mental clutter. They’ve has decided that it’s all fake anyway so they couldn’t care less unless it somehow serves them.
As far as pros vs cons go, Mula is an innately intense and esoteric nakshatra. You can compare it to something like the 8th house, where yes it comes with the hardship and rejection from the mainstream but amongst the darkness you can find immense spiritual depth and gnosis.
If you take away anything from this post, it’s really important to remember that there a lot of Mulas out there who live long fulfilling lives full of love.
Mula is also a very powerful nakshatra for attracting a cult following!
i support the message " immigrants built this country " but its quite erasing the history of slavery
Saturn and your driving style. I believe Saturn can tell you how you would like/prefer to drive or if you want to drive at all.
For example: Saturn in Shravana would rather not drive everyday or have a scheduled reason to drive.
Saturn in Moola: likes to drive people for errands reasons. So they might shop for other people.
Saturn in Revati: would like to drive something expensive. Maybe even rare. These could be pilots.
Saturn in Punarvasu: would drive kids around. Could be a school bus driver or takes kids to their lessons/hobbies.
Saturn in Mrigashira: would rather not drive at all! Do not ask them to drive you around. Catch them on a bus or train.
It may take for your Saturn return to happen for this to become more apparent.

Ashlesha is ALWAYS so Sexually preserved???????????????... In women they're tantric queens and PRIESTESSES. NUNS. LITERALLY NUNS. you'll see" most hot nuns who deny sex" trope or "girls with high sex drive yet seem 'innocent' or veiled" actresses are ALWAYS ashlesha somewhere... And for the men. Monk-ish. Genuinely. (if it's healed). (if unhealed the man will begin shaming women for sex/might deviate).
(nuns that represent purity and holiness &. Are actually very great midwives.. For some reason. Became unfortunately symbols for sex, impurity, Sexuality, and even blood/horror)
(most ashleshas become celibate/monks because their sexual drive is terrifyingly high. Very. Very high. It could literally destroy or build. (They harness it and keep it inside like a coiled snake. Using this energy to manifest and tap into the unseen. Using this life force in the astral. Instead of using it to bring something to the physical.) And from their experience with seeing their fathers act badly / their mothers suffering. They choose to live child free & devote themselves to God.)
Not to mention nun became a horror genre/costume. And unfortunately, despite it's message: sexualised. Something ashlesha natives deal with. Unchosen sexualisation may lead to celibacy / completely shutting down libido/high shame. Psychologically. They Try to run away from the one thing that's been chasing them their entire life.
Most ashleshas have this light croquettes aesthetic, or the hot bimbo, or or the nun, or the goth girl. Each for the same reason unfortunately, unchosen Sexuality.
For men. Either they become gynecologists (Bharani and shathabhisha men too!!!!!). Very good lawyers!!!! Or psychologists!!!!!!!! (BTW something I've noticed, they tend to be a huge factor of attraction for young girls!!!!! They have mastered the art of calmness after so many poisonous bites. /healed Ashlesha)
Healing for these individuals, especially at 29° degree is very hard. And very. Very rewarding. Very potent energy & self.
Especially ashlesha women may face SA or especially marital SA.. For some reason. Each and every one I meet always has a horrible relationship with men, fathers, brothers, cousins?? (not so much on this part) and even, husbands. & might very well have a son as a first born.
But in the end they gain wealth in solitude.
Might become very strict mother's unfortunately. But very sweet with their friends' daughters.
