Halle Bailey as Anna and RegƩ-Jean Page as Michael YOU, ME & TUSCANY (2026) Dir. Kat Coiro
Iām gonna say it.
I hate when people make Bennett OCs whose only purpose in the story is to sacrifice themselves and die for the greater good.
Itās just a weird choice to me.
āRhaenyra is Visenya reborn!ā āNo Daemon is Visenya reborn!ā āAemond is Visenya reborn!ā āMy Rhaenyraās daughter oc is Visenya reborn!ā Disrespectfully, youāre all wrong. Itās Baela.
Thank you, Black people in fandom spaces. Thank you, Black creators and Black lurkers. Thank you Black artists, Black writers. Thank you, Black bloggers, Black influencers. Shoutout to those Black characters, both canon and original. Thank you, Black people, both queer and cishet.
Your perspectives matter. Your representation matters. You are not bothersome for demanding equal treatment in fandom. It is not your responsibility to make fandom more welcoming and inclusive to you. It is not your sole responsibility to create all of the Black-centered content. You are not "ruining" anyone's fun for demanding better for yourself, and anyone who says otherwise can go fuck themselves. Any fandom worth being a part of should have no room for racism in it.
Black people in fandom, you are wanted. You are needed. You are loved and appreciated. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
And since they don't get told it near enough, thank you, Black women especially!!!
I literally can't believe we're getting a multi-season slow burn bickering-to-friends-to-lovers lesbian love story set in the 1800s with two of the most beautiful women I have ever seen before involved. We're not supposed to get this... like this is against the rules of TV or something idk it feels fucking surreal
Marcel haters get so pressed at the fact he's stronger than the Mikaelson family (especially Klaus), it's just so funny.
No, just because Klaus wasn't shown going "full hybrid mode" on Marcel doesn't mean he could have won. The show made it very clear Marcel was an upgrade in all the ways.
The Mikaelson: *living in the plantation where Marcel lived as a slave more than once, Klaus mocking his whip wounds, Elijah being aggressive towards him in every single conversation they had, constantly reminding him he would never be Klaus's redemption now that his white daughter existed, the whole family treating him like he was disposable and acting like he was a child, never family unlike Hayley, who somehow become family just because she popped a baby*
The fandom: the Mikaelson aren't racist!!!!!
The difference between Bonnie enjoyers and actual Bonnie fans:
A Bonnie enjoyer:
Likes her being the moral center, rejects her having moral grayness that doesnāt serve her friend group.
Thinks her canon ships were good, rejects Bonnie having relationships with ābad guys.ā
They think her villain era shouldāve been when Enzo died.
Says āBonnie deserved betterā but dislikes season 1 and 2 where she had a bit more agency.
Cares more about how Bonnieās relationship with Elena and Caroline makes Elena and Caroline look rather than centering Bonnie herself.
Thinks the worst thing about Bonnieās writing is solely the romantic aspect, ignoring the other ways she was done dirty.
Will say Bonnie was treated unfairly until itās time to critique their favorite character treating Bonnie badly then they give excuses.
Will defend or make excuses for Bonnieās poor writing by trying to āreasonā with why we never see her on a deeper level (like why we donāt know her major, what she really likes, etc).
Will agree Bonnie was impacted by racism but limits what that racism applied to.
A true Bonnie fan:
Supports her non-canon ships, even ones the average TVDU fan finds ācharacter ruining.ā
Defends Bonnie from harmful narratives about her.
Supports morally gray Bonnie and even Bonnie getting revenge on those who mistreated her (yes including Elena and Caroline).
Knows that racism impacted every single way of how Bonnie was portrayed.
Does not make excuses for racist writing or tries to reason with it.
Sees Bonnie as deserving of full character development (something as minuscule as what she likes to her getting better romances).
Does not praise Benzo or Beremyās writing.
Acknowledges how things were stolen from Bonnie and given to white characters (Davina, Elena, Caroline, Freya, etc.).
Supports Bonnie with full agency and knows that season 1 and 2 was not enough in showcasing her agency.
Does not center other characters when talking about Bonnieās development (or lack thereof).
Does not limit Bonnie to canon at all.
This isnāt to say Bonnie has to be your favorite character because you can be a Bonnie fan without her being that. However, most people are not Bonnie fans but simply enjoyers.
If they were gonna plagiarize from Buffy then should've given Bonnie the witch gf she deserved.
Itās actually so funny (and also kinda exhausting) how the Teen Wolf fandom treats Scott vs. Stiles. Like everyoneās always like āStiles is the fave because heās funny!! heās the team helper!!ā and Iām just like⦠okay but would yāall still love him like that if he wasnāt played by Dylan OāBrien?
Because letās be real: a lot of people donāt love Stiles, they love Dylan. Swap him with a less attractive actor and suddenly Stiles becomes āthe annoying kid who causes problems.ā Itās not even a hot take at this point.
Meanwhile Scott (literally the protagonist!), the moral center, the leader, the Alpha ā and fandom collectively decided he was āboringā because he wasnāt sarcastic enough for them. Itās giving main character allergy.
And the thing that REALLY gets me is how people have to villainize Scott to uplift Stiles. Like suddenly Scott is āa bad friendā or āuselessā or ānot the real hero,ā while Stiles becomes this mythologized white savior genius who actually saved everyone behind the scenes or whatever. Itās wild how compassion and refusal to be morally edgy gets treated as a flaw while reckless snark gets treated as attraction.
Also Iām not even gonna lie: the racial optics are nasty. Weāve seen this exact dynamic in other fandoms too ā Bonnie Bennett on TVD, Lucas in Stranger things, etc. The protagonist or moral anchor of color gets downgraded to irrelevant or āweakā while the snarky traumatized white dude becomes the fandomās real hero. Itās a pattern.
And like yeah, preferences exist, like who you want. Thatās fine. But liking Stiles does NOT require rewriting the entire show so that Scott becomes the villain and Stiles becomes the messiah. Scott literally kept his pack alive by refusing to become the edgy antihero the fandom wanted him to be. He didnāt have to be dark or feral to be interesting.
Basically what I'm saying is liking Stiles is normal. Turning Scott into the bad guy so Stiles can be your white savior fantasy is weird

Imagine them giving the Bennetts their own languageā¦hear me out! Using history of witchcraft ofc not being accepted in African societies (like every society) imagine the Bennett line having a secret language influenced by that. The language would only be used for magic purposes and it couldāve developed more during slavery like a coded thing especially bc slaves werenāt allowed to read and write. Like think of the fake languages they made for Game of Thrones u know?
