Imagine Bonnie being Lucas Scott: Her mom abandons her at few months, shacks up with another, gives birth to another daughter with said man, ignores Bonnie's existence for years all the while they're living in the same damn town.

Katherine was 18 and the writers gave her a child before she turned into a vampire I'm failing to see why the same couldn't have been done for the Mikaelsons and Salvatores.

So like what are Liz and Carol's maiden names they're only the moms of the MFG gang without their own seperate name.

Mason trying to come up with an excuse as to why he's back in town. Tyler just watching the interactions between his dad and his uncle.

Bamon Recap: Season 2 [18. The Last Dance]

So the first scene we see them is in the Boarding house when Elena decides that she’s gonna leave the safe house the brothers created and she’s gonna be with Bonnie. We can see that poor Bonnie is stressed about the whole situation (did Damon notice that too?) , but still she reassures everyone saying that she can take Klaus down.They look for a second at eachother.

After that we have the scene where Bonnie shows her mojo to Damon, it seems like Damon wasn’t sure that Bonnie could handle the situation even though she said so in the first scene. So he vamp-accelerates towards her but she pushes him away with her powers. (Pretty handy for the epic love-hate pillow fights they’re gonna have in the future don’t you think?)

And so we are moving on the parking lot scene with their brief exchange and I love it.

and now we move to the dance

Damon takes her from Jeremy and then their little chit-chat starts!

Bonnie: You heard Jeremy and me talking, didn’t you? Damon: Is it true? Bonnie: Yes. Damon: Part about you having a 50/50 chance of surviving, is that true? Bonnie: He was upset, I didn’t want him to worry. Damon: So you’d lay it all on the line for Elena, no matter what. Bonnie: No matter what. Damon: Good. Bonnie: You can’t tell her. Damon: Your secret is safe with me. I mean, all that power, is there no way to increase your odds? Bonnie: Careful Damon, I might start to think you actually care. Damon: Wouldn’t want that.

Their dialogue perfect, showing how they understand eachother, how Damon respects her and that he cares about her. And Bonnie’s sweet surpised face was awesome! XD

Moving forward we have this crucial moment when:

Bonnie: I’m trying but if I kill Alaric, he’ll just possess someone else. He knows I have my power, Damon. He’s trying to kill me. Damon: No. Klaus does not get to win tonight. No way. You still willing to do whatever it takes to kill him?

and here they set up a plan the one plan that will lead to win that night and fool Klaus, note that we didn’t watch them working together, this leaded to the happy surprise that she was alive in the end of the episode, but still instead of Damon narrating what happened I would have preferred a flashback too. My little (also the  first :p) rant concerning this can be found here and has the title What I would have preferred to watch instead of Damon’s narration in “The Last Dance”.

overall this episode was bamon epic

So yes this is the final part of the recap and I hope that you who read this and watched the whole Bamon recap I started before the season premiere, found it entertaining and you liked it!

Something you guys should know about me: I watch The Vampire Diaries solely for Bonnie Bennett. I do enjoy other parts of the show, and have grown attached to other characters and plots, but if not for bonnie I would not be viewer. Something else you should know? I am a HUGE romance nut. I don’t know, I’m a sap for cheesy lines and heartfelt, emotional shmuck. I’m a sucker. Combine my love of Bonnie with my love of Romance, and you’ve got a fan who likes to ship my girl with every hot guy within walking distance. This is not an “apology” post for my ways it’s a “get the fuck over it” post. The day when viewers of a fantasy show based around a 3-some involving 2 vampires start acting uppity about my choices is the day we have a problem.

I like what the fuck I like, I ship what the fuck I like, and if I want to ship Bonnie with the air she breathes that’s my choice. Get over it and go about your business.

I love how people love to remind us and tag Damon’s quote “I will gladly let Bonnie die” in the Bamon tag but tend to forget Damon’s quote to Stefan back in season 1 if I remember correctly “I want Elena to die” or something like that and also tend to forget this :

Bonnie misses it because she is looking at him. How easily he reads her. It only adds to her irritation. “You are missing the fireworks.” He drops his head to peek at her. “I’ll tell you what. You watch the fireworks. I’ll stand guard.”

She pretends she doesn’t hear him over the loud bang. He makes a face and plops the ridiculous hat on her head. “Look up, Bonnie,” he tells her.
