I had a nightmare last night that I unpinned my shawl after it finished drying, and it turned out that it'd shrank... Scary.

Finally finished my Ravellenic Games shawl! Bit late, but oh well. It's a Winter Roses Shawl in plain blue acrylic, because I'm a poor college student. Bottom picture is a close-up of the lace pinned out, though it won't be blocked for a bit because no one on my entire freaking floor apparently owns a steam-iron.

That little cruddy swatch is going to be used to test another blocking method, though!

oh I definitely remember why this dang thing wound up where it did -- stitch count in the pattern matches up with what's on the needles but I've gone over this section six times and I stILL DON'T HAVE ENOUGH STITCHES SOMEHOW

Scarf, finally finished! Neither photo does the color justice, but it's one of those really intense shades of blue that just photographs really badly... Doesn't hurt that I have a terrible camera, haha.

Some more progress shots! As of time of queuing, I have twelve more little patches to sew on, eight hours until this is due, and three until the professor opens their office. I have already been evicted so my roommate can sleep, and have retreated to the lounge. Someone has left cake. It will not survive the night.

Final stretch... Blanket is now six squares by seven, ends all woven in, 3/14 designs (messily) embroidered, project is due Thursday. Most likely going to pick up some (cheap) fabric, write on it in Sharpie, and use that for the words... Wish me luck on finishing this in time!!!
