Redemption Days is a new single by talented artist, Josh Osho.To me, when I first heard this song I immediately thought that he has a breathiness in his voice similar to Lemar. His voice also permeates soulful tones like that of Jamie Fox. That could just be me though...
With Redemption Days having only been available for a week or so now after being released on July 25th; Osho is teasing us as we all avidly await his forthcoming debut album L.I.F.E (Learning Is For Ever).
This song seems to be somewhat of a pick-me-up for all those struggling and generally feeling dis-heartened about whatever that may be. It's a feel good song, and to be honest, it's what we all need from time-to-time. It features Wu Tang Clan member Ghostface Killah to add a bit of edginess. It's common knowledge that Ghostface Killah doesn't often collaborate with various artists so for him to feature on this must mean Osho had proven himself as quite an artist.
If L.I.F.E is anything like this song, I can't wait to hear what's next.

It's such a shame to hear about what has happened to such an enviably talented artist. Amy may have been on somewhat of a rollercoaster ride with drugs and alcohol, but her ability to create great music is un-questionable. Back to Black was such an incredible album and it really pushed the boundaries of modern day music. Her vocals, the lyrics and the instrumentals were so fun to listen to and they had such a knack to getting you hooked.
Winehouse was very different to current artists, she had created a new type of audience. Her fans had developed the iconic Winehouse Beehive alongside the thick eyeliner and tattoos; her music spoke of love and loss in such a refreshing way and it veered away from the norm.
Amy had such a colourful lifestyle and she dared to be different. In some respects, she was a role model in the sense that she inspired people to be different and to not care what people thought. Nowadays, alternative is the new ordinary!
I'll post up a few of my favourite Winehouse songs tomorrow.

Mac Miller
Soon to be touring the UK, the 'dope' artist Mac Miller has shot up in the hip-hop industry so rapidly it just feels as though he's always been here.
Miller began his career during his high school years as part of 'The Ill Spoken', a rap group based from Pittsburgh. Once 18, Rostrum Records signed and released his debut mixtape, 'K.I.D.S' late summer only last year!
From then til now Miller has become somewhat of an aspirational icon amongst teenage boys in America and the UK. His party hard lifestyle and life-couldn't-be-better attitude provokes envy throughout the masses. Can you blame him?
From August '10 up until now, Miller has worked extremely to get where he is now. He recently released an EP, 'On And On And Beyond' in March this year and has announced the release of his first album later in the year titled 'Blue Slide Park'. There could also be the possibility that he will be performing some songs off of his album during his UK tour which will be kick-started in September.

Well, there are currently only 4 dates for Mac Miller's UK performances. A little less than i'd expected but hopefully, like Rihanna, he'll be generous and add more dates later in the year after he sees how well we all party!
