Officially properly opening my thorntail adopts! Only a few genes available for now but I'm working on more + sponsoring is available.
(Fair warning I'm away for a couple weeks in a few days though haha. I'll have my tablet but poor internet so don't expect much progress for the next two weeks lol)
On that, I'm not sure if I should bother setting up a hatchery thread yet? I have a pretty solid idea on what the theme of my hatchery will be so the actual thread setup won't be hard or anything. I just only have the one pair at the moment haha. I should probably dig around and start looking into some additional pairs.
Finally got dewlap for Peaches and can get a red-throat nest going (●ˇ∀ˇ●)

Trying to come up with a clan name is hard, I'm struggling to land on something that doesn't just feel silly in my eyes. I miss being a teenager when you could come up with the wildest names for things and you're like yeah. That's Awesome.
my new theory is that these are all the same beastclan: Gnomes. this is just what gnomes look like on Sornieth. Sapient beaverfolk with elemental inclinations. perhaps the best possible interpretation of gnomes tbh
it is MAYBE a squirrel but it is DEFINITELY a rodent-shaped creature with a bush for a tail called a Garden Gnome that shares an extremely similar body plan to the other two rodents here. ROBUST RODENTFOLK gnomes. if we must.
ALSO sure it has a big bushy tail but this is a GARDEN pest creature! I think it could be a groundhog
I am absolutely transfixed by the aesthetic's of the Earth lair scene... I'm moving to Earth now.

This week, all of dragonkind gather together to participate in the Rockbreaker's Ceremony! This festival celebrates the Earth Flight.
It's a bummer to me that we largely only get to see familiar art at the default 200x200 size outside of occasional promo images on social media, because it's such lovely art that I'd love to appreciate more closely. Feeling this with the Fractured Cerdae in particular, it looks so sick.

like ok imagine it's the middle of summer & you're frying alive in the desert but then you finally come back to the canyon you call your home & descend into your blissfully cold & beautifully shiny room of stone & crystal. & then you sip on ice tea while admiring your gemstone collection. When ordering you'll be able to pick which item your Thorntail is holding (or nothing at all). To start with there's a gold, silver or bronze coin, but eventually I'd like to do other little trinkets like gemstones.
