I just starting bawling my eyes out
Slavery was a choice though right?
My grandpa lives in clarksdale, Mississippi and HATES white people with a passion. I grew up listening to stories like this. His cousins had to flee to Chicago in the 60s for trying to fight a group of white landowners who wanted to hang them for trying to leave the land they worked on.
Slavery turned into “share cropping” if you kept your slaves ignorant and isolated then they didn’t know they had been freed. This went on well into the 60’s the fucking 60’s these people are still alive dealing with this type of shit in the deep south.
My friend said to “fact check” this and I’m like…black ppl are literally saying they were kept as slaves what is there to fact check. Anyway, sharecropping was still slavery as far as I’m concerned.
There are people in deep so there are black people in the deep self that are still sharecropping in 2018 if you look up Angola prison it’s basically a plantation
Angola is literally a plantation. I go there all the time to visit family.
They pick crops. They tend cattle and horses. And they have jobs but see so little of the money.
Angola is described as a maximum security prison farm. Y'all a farm.
Most of the guards and wardens literally stay on the like acres of land and the prisoners make their meals and ahir sometime.
Louisiana is one of those states you don’t think has racial issues like this.
We lead the world in incarceration rates and do you think a maximum security federal prison name.

A Charlottesville jury says a 34-year-old Georgia man is guilty of malicious wounding for his role in the attack on DeAndre Harris.
Jurors in Charlottesville Circuit Court went into deliberations in Alex Michael Ramos’ care shortly before 3:30 p.m Thursday, May 3. They handed down their verdict a little after 4 p.m.
The jury then considered a punishment for Ramos, which entailed possible fines and a sentencing of somewhere between five and 20 years behind bars. The jury came back with a decision around 5:45 p.m., and recommended a six-year sentence with no fine.
let’s not allow it to be lost in all this. this guy is puerto rican. not white, puerto rican. i’m always blown away by white supremacist group members who AREN’T white. so many of them are spanish or asian. all hating black ppl. this is why i laught when ppl say that they can’t be racist because they’re latino, latina or asian. i mean some of y'all are literally joining white supremacists group. dafuq are you talking about?
