Excuse me but here's an idea that I believe needs to be done- Beauty and the Beast toshinko AU. ( fairytale, not disney please!)
-Alrighty then… I re-read the story and I changed a few things to make it easier for me to do
Inko was born into a rich family, Who only cared about their riches. She kept to herself until the day her family decided she was to be wed.
“But father, I cannot be wed!” She received a quick blow to the face and she shut up. She always did as her father told. The man she married seemed nice at the start but that faded… fast. He went from neglecting her to beating her. She decided to get out of there. It would take long but as long as she tried she would be fine.
“The most beautiful maiden in the town huh? I doubt that. No beautiful maiden would wish to learn.” Dammit. She would ask the same question every month
“Will I be able to finish school, My husband?” and she got the same response every time.
“NO! Inko” until five years after their marriage.
“fine. But only if you are willing to do something for me first” She complied.
The morning after she felt an insane dread set on her. What if she got pregnant? That thought wouldn’t leave her even when she was back at school. So directly after she ran to the closest doctor. As she ran into the office a Doctor came out to meet her.
“Doctor. Please tell me if I am with child?” The doctor simply nodded and set her up for as many tests as possible.
“We shall get these results to you as soon as possible Inko” This calmed her nerves for a couple of days. She took the beatings her husband gave her until the day she got called into the doctors.
“Congratulations Inko, This is your baby boy!” Now she had another reason to get out. Without even thinking or replying she ran. She didn’t grab anything from home because she knew her husband would be home. She didn’t run to her parents she just ran until she made it to the next town over. The only thing that kept her going was the overwhelming fear. After she made it to the town she started working. She settled in well and since her beautiful son was born, she never even looked back. Izuku grew up to be a strong boy with desires to help. One day Izuku told his mother.
“Hey mom?, I’m going to UA it’s a school where you learn to be a knight” Obviously Inko wasn’t going to get in the way of her son’s dream. So she let him go.
“Is there anything you want me to get you on my way back?” Her son always was kind but at the moment the only thing Inko wanted was to know her son was ok.
“Just get me a single rose okay?” he nodded and then… he was on his way. Inko continued life like it should. But she had a heavy feeling in her heart. She couldn’t place her finger on it. Until. Todoroki, one of Izuku’s friends came in.
“DEKU HAS BEEN TAKEN BY A BEAST!” The plate she was washing shattered to the ground in shock.
“where?” She mutters. Instead of saying anything Todoroki just walks out with me behind him and points to a rusty old castle.
“we were heading back when it started to rain and thunder so we all seeked shelter in the castle when a man came out and grabbed him. He was only looking at a pretty rose” Inko felt the guilt and blame settle onto her shoulders so she just started walking. It was her fault he was looking at the rose so it was her job to make sure he came back safely.
