Pokemon Sleep

S rank for the week. I knew that this week would be crazy hot and I I was going to have trouble sleeping so I sorta cheated. Tracking my sleep wasn't going to be really helpful since I knew it was just gonna be bad so I let my PoGo++ rest on my nightstand for a bit before putting it back on the bed.

Final Fantasy V

Just about at the end of my 3rd run. Trying to decide if I want to attempt the super bosses. I don't actually like the team composition that much (Dragoon, Mystic Knight, Black Mage, Red Mage) so I don't really want to.

The Land

Finished up the series. I think I enjoyed book 8 when I read it the first time but rereading it I found it was so boring.

Went to read other reviews on it and one resonated with me. It basically said this. They spent so much time building up to this huge battle. During/after the battle we get so many hints of boons for the village. And the main character gets thrown down a hole so we can't see any of the village growth. Instead, we literally get a whole chapter of diarrhea.

System Universe

Started reading a new series.

Seems pretty okay so far. The beginning was very much whiplash from reading the summary to reading the first chapter but it leveled out pretty quickly.

Very light week for new sleep styles but it did make another 4/4 which is cool.

Got my first Large Leek. With that I've obtained all ingredients!

How did I get an S rank for the week? My sleep was horrible.

The Land

Up to Book 7 on the reread now. I think I'm liking these latter books less. There's a ton of repetition of already discussed mechanics/story points on book 7 especially.

Final Fantasy V

Beat my second fiesta run. Got my first ever triple crown with it too! Was fairly easy with a Ninja, Berserker, Bard, and Chemist.

Pokemon Sleep

Cramorant release week. Only saw one and it was full before I could befriend it so didn't get any.

New Sleep Styles: Bonsly 4*, Cramorant 2* - Gobbling Sleep

New Befriend: Shiny Doduo

Pretty sure I evolved something this week but I forgot to write it down. Arbok maybe?

Leveled up a Wobbuffet to get my first Tasty Mushroom. I think I'm gonna hold off on making dishes with it though.

Rank B this week. -1 Star on both duration and midpoint. Really did not have a good week of sleep this week. It was hotter than it has been so I had trouble getting to sleep.

Final Fantasy V

Finished my first run for this year's FFVFJF. Party was full of glass cannons (blm, sum, dnc, dnc) so I breezed through it pretty quickly. Managed to take down Shinryu as well. Omega was way too annoying to try to deal with though.

Second run is Ninja, Berserker, Bard, and Chemist. This run is going to be fairly straightforward.

The Land

Wanted to read again so started rereading The Land series by Aleron Kong. Already on Book 5 on this reread.

Final Fantasy V

100% on the Steam Pixel Remaster.

The FF5FJF started.

First run is Black Mage, Summoner, and 2 Dancers. I've never had Dancers in the fiesta so of course I get 2 in the same run. Excited to actually use the Dancer equipment though.

Feel like I had a really bad week for sleep.

The update fixed the bug that had the Pokemon Go Plus+ not registering Daylight Savings so they basically set my alarm an hour earlier. Didn't notice until 2 days later and was wondering why I was waking up an hour earlier.

Also it registered me actually falling asleep later than usual.

Despite this I got an S rank...

Clicker Heroes

Passed floor 10k! In sort of a full idle groove now with 3 auto-clickers. Curious how long it will take to get the last floor Steam Achievement (30k). Also curious how many of the other achievements I'll have left once I get to floor 30k. Only 18 left atm.

Another A rank week with a lost star from midpoint. I really should keep the alarm on over the weekends but sleeping in is nice.

Final Fantasy V

Have like 1 or 2 side quests left before going into the final area on my 100% Pixel Remaster - Steam run. I noticed too late that I missed a monster on the Big Bridge run but I'll most likely get that if I do fiesta runs on this version so I'm not too worried.

Hit the 240 Sleep Styles goal. Unlocked Lapis Lake! Probably won't actually go to Lapis Lake for a while though.

4/4 for Igglybuff and Houndour. I don't like Igglybuff. I do like Houndour.

Got an A for this week. -1 star on midpoint this time.

Clicker Heroes

Haven't *really* been paying attention to what's been going on in Clicker Heroes so just noticed I passed floor 7k 8k 9k.

Got a few auto-clickers for the first time. Those *really* help. They let me treat this as an actual idle game again too.

Finally got to Tsuchi.

Multiversus

Official release this week. Saw my cousin streaming it and decided to try it out a bit.

Banana Guard is fun.

FFVFJF is soon. Realized I never 100% the Pixel Remaster on Steam so doing that.

Stardew Valley

Adjusted a few more mods to my liking. Also basically combined parts of two different mods into one. I was going to add something else to it and release it as a separate mod but the framework I was going to use had a bug specifically with the part I wanted to use.

Started Fall Year 1 on my save.

Realized I had max hearts on like 10 people now but haven't actually seen that many events so I started making a point to open event lookup every day and try to get at least one to trigger.

There's so many that it says are available in the Saloon but never trigger when I go in there. Curious why that is.

Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2

This gave a nice recap for the first game. Thought it was a bit funny that I feel like I've never heard any of the names mentioned before but that may just be because it's been years since I played the first one.

Only beat the first chapter so far.

This game is great. Both this and the first are definitely not games I think everyone should play but I wish everyone could experience them. Headphones required.

Decided to stop doing daily updates because I often feel like I have nothing to say. Posting on Monday so I can get the Pokemon Sleep week score in this.

Pokemon Sleep

Got a B for the week. My PoGoPlus+ ran out of battery in the middle of the night on Saturday so it only recorded like 3 hours. Adding the rest of my sleep afterwards didn't help.

Stardew Valley

Started dabbling in mod creation. Made a super simple crop consisting of a black square and black veggie. Have a few ideas but I think I need to figure out C# to fully realize them.

Fixed another person's mod (animated more new fish). Also wrote a few bugs for different mods.

As far as my actual save goes, I managed to fix the minecarts and upgrade my house. Still need to fix the RSV ones though. So glad I can easily cook now too

Daggerheart

Party spent a bunch of time trying to figure out how to get into the castle to warn the Royals about an assassination attempt.

They realized their main idea, flying over the walls at night, might not work since their mode of flight (seraph's wings) we had established prior that they glow when turned on.

Eventually tried to figure out other ways to get in.

Found an (ex?)-queen that is willing to get them into the upcoming Gala in exchange for going on a hunt with her.

Added a bunch more mods. Over 200 installed now.

Actually played a bit today too. Mainly mining so I can get a steel axe to get rid the logs that kept appearing around the farm/forest a bug in a weather mod.

Stardew Valley

Tried to fix a couple mods where the authors said they either don't want to or don't have the time to fix. Managed to fix one but couldn't wrap my head around the other.

Actually made some progress on the save too rather than spending all of my day's free time on modding. Each day tempts me on putting the no friendship loss mod but then that would basically invalidate the social skill mod. Might just bump up the strength of the skill since I'm learning a lot about changing mods with the above point.

I'm A Little Crabby

Had a somewhat spontaneous dinner/game night with family. Played this little card game.

Rules are there are teams of 2. Each team makes a secret signal to denote when they have a 4 of a kind in their hand. In a round of gameplay, one side of the table (with one person from each team) can switch their cards with the 4 cards in the middle. Once their done switching the other side goes. If nobody on one side switches any cards, the 4 in the middle get discarded and 4 new ones come out. If you think your partner has 4 of a kind you call them out and get/lose a point if you're right/wrong. You can call other people out and steal/give a point if you're right/wrong.

Definitely from the Exploding Kittens people with the art and humor of the card text.

Fun for what it is. We took a while to learn the rules and it was already late when we started so it was the "main course" for this day but it's definitely an appetizer/desert for a more main course-type game.

Pokemon Sleep

I have no idea how but I got an S rank for last week. I had a 5 hour and an 8 hour sleep last week.

New Sleep Styles: Growlithe 3* - Belly-Up Sleep, Pinsir 2* - Upright Sleep. Got all 4 sleep styles for Growlithe!

Evolved a Gastly into a Haunter then immediately into a Gengar. Also evolved a Typhlosion.

Stardew Valley

Got to the first festival after adding all these NPCs (80-something for the intro quest) and wow there's so many people.

At about 75% Steam Achievements now.

Getting a bit bored of the progression so considering shelving this soon and going back to reading during my free time at work.
