DSMP Gacha designs! I made c!Fundy, c!George, c!Karl and c!Sapnap (George, Karl and Sapnap were suggested by @b1gm4n1nn1t) hi it’s me xnon just pretend you don’t know it. Each design will have a little blurb about the details I added along with my thoughts abt the character.
C!Fundy, my specialist little guy.. I didn’t used to care much about him before I got back into the fandom, now he’s like my second favorite character (no one will ever dethrone c!Quackity)
his skin is a little bland so I added some random details like an earring and the armband instead of his coat stripes. I tried to make him look tired because of his nightmares, and the paw print on his scarf is meant to be from Yogurt!
c!George! Honestly, do not gaf abt this guy ‘^.^ his lore never interested me too much, but I still wanted to give him a good design. His mushroom hat is made of two wicker hats, two flowers for the mushroom gills, and a block of cheese for the spots. I’m not joking.
I also tried to make him sleepy looking for obvious reasons. I think I was gonna make him a fae but I forgot his wings so he’s just an elf or something.
C!KARL!!! I love this guy, he’s so weird and tragic. Karl designs are always difficult because you have to balance out his color palette or else he’s an eyesore. I know his last Minecraft skin was far more human looking, but I really like the colorful shapeshifter creature concept. That’s why he’s pink with weird eyes.
Similarly, I made his arms and legs longer than my base Gacha designs to give him an odd silhouette. His sleeves kinda hide it though :/ You might notice his little ankle tie is a different saturation of orange! That’s intentional, it’s meant to represent Sapnap. I didn’t add one for Quackity for uh.. obvious reasons
Finally, we have c!Sapnap. Honestly a big fan of this guy too. He’s constantly fucked over in the lore, pour one out for my boy. Anyways, I made him a Nether hybrid of some kind, demon or blaze idrc. His right bun is intentionally a different style because it’s meant to be messier from training (which is why he’s got a sword and shield)
c!Sapnap wasn’t a character I had a strong mental design for, so I was kinda making it up as I went. The pink tie is meant for Karl, no Quackity for the same reason. Though I do think Sapnap would still have some momento for Quackity cause he’s got hope.
I have several other designs for dsmp characters that I’d be happy to share and ramble about. Additionally, I’ll totally take suggestions for who to make next. It’s a MASSIVE list of players to choose from and so many designs seem mad fun
I LOVE YOU FOR THIS I LOVE CTECHNO AND I HAVE SO MANT THINGS I LIKE SAYING ABOUT HIM. I DON’T REALLY KNOW WHERE TO START BUT ILL DO THIS AS INTERESTINGLY AS I CAN, MOSTLY IT BEING QUOTES. TY FOR ASK-ING ME.
Okay so. I really like him not being able to concentrate on a single thing. That’s mega important to me. Why would it be, man might ask. Well, it makes things inefficient in some ways but, psh, that’s out of the way. What **I** like about it is that it makes him seem immature to the eyes of others, it makes him look careless, scatterbrained, unamused. He doesn’t look a TAD BIT like he cares as much as he does, the fake Idgafer. In the yelling with Tommy about how discs aren’t people he gets sidetracked, like, two times. That’s an approximate, hence the word “like”. Tommy saw it as him not caring, at least from the way I understood it. Tommy kept running in circles with some points (not literally running in circles, but his points supported one another as if he was trying to earn respect from someone, from my pov) and it MAKES ME SICK. I DON’T KNOW. Also, the whole “dog” thing with Pogtopia?? Exactly. He seemed like he didn’t care for the rebellion resulting in Tommy going “show some more enthusiasm!” Because he’s monotone as well. Now that I think about it, Tommy probably didn’t feel like Techno cared a half of how hard Tommy cared. Huh. The red festival, Techno couldn’t get himself to focus on GOING TO THE EXECUTION BOX, instead constantly referring to chat. He was going far ahead Niki and Phil while they were dragging the horses to the prison, he brought Apollo because he wanted to do it (WHICH SEEMS CARELESS AND SCATTERBRAINED AND IMPULSIVE AND IMMATUR— [slap]).
okay but can we talk about how impulsive he can be when the thing he’s doing is COMPLETELY inconsequential?? Or at least he thinks he is? He can do so many things that can be seen as “reckless” as long as there’s no consequences to it. Apollo, trolling skeppy because he knew Skeppy would just laugh about it, other stuff I don’t remember now. It’s not like he’s insane or anything, he’s mostly fine with the impulsiveness, but idk he usually gets explained to be cautious and not all up for games in fanon. HE IS WHIMSICAL IN HIS OWN SPECIAL WAY. (C!tech: “Who cares if he’s exciting fresh and fun?!” F:tech“Please, he sounds like a deodorant.”) HE LITERALLY JOKES AROUND WITH PEOPLE PRETTY OFTEN, HIS JOKES BEING BLUNT STATEMENTS THAT MAKE HIM APPEAR TO BE UNCARING. HE CARES TOO MUCH. Well.
Techno does care but in an integrated way. He has said it himself. The whole thing like “those who treat me with kindness I’ll repay the kindness the tenfold” “those who treat me with injustice and hurt my friends I’ll repay that injustice a thousand times over.” is literally the justice he made in his head. It doesn’t really say “just because the majority of people don’t like this person doesn’t mean I shouldn’t” and he goes by that judgement of his. It can be interpreted in many ways, I’m gonna be honest. The way that I interpret it is that his door’s open for people who could go into rehab because. Well. He did try to make a makeshift rehab (retirement) and it didn’t go well for him. The door isn’t open to some people but those people have been thrown out of the door for a reason.
another thing that makes him seem reckless and uncaring, distant is how he’s the unsociablest person ever. Not just unsociable, no, he’s the biggest loser ever. While it isn’t shown much to how he would exactly deal with his feelings (calling them cringe doesn’t count), I’d think that he just starts another task to focus on while the other one eats him from the inside. It’s something the voices are great at supporting because they constantly want SOMETHING (it’s also why, in fanon, I like to consider him to be prone to addictions. To feel something, to run away? I think you get my point). He won’t communicate anything, he’ll look for a solution. I kinda project this onto him because people perceive things differently and I prescient it like this. Feelings aren’t really feelings to him, they’re puzzles he has to solve to either be happy or to make someone else happy. Hence, he gives them gifts because that’s a positive thing you can do. His constant “doing something” or having a task to focus on would benefit it. He makes something to distract himself from feelings and then gives someone a gift to show what he feels. It could be an apology thing made through sweat or it could be something else that doesn’t require eye-to-eye contact and communication. Giving Phil the emerald, which he later laughed about, was something he didn’t have to face in a strict setting. Idk that’s just how I think honestly.
also, another thing I wanted to mention is kind of how he’s avoidant until he isn’t. Like a twig that can only take so much pressure before it snaps. The pressure depends on the situation and the thickness of the twig. He wasn’t exactly on squeaking 🐭 speaking terms with Tommy before doomsday and all, but then, he just did it. He resolved his grudge by planning from far away and then taking a chance of action. I don’t know. I’m gonna explode. That sounds like running and running until you reach your goal. Bonus the thing that he calls some things he struggles with “cringe”. But this is just my POV.
i fucking hate when dream uses that like. stupid soft voice which only serves the purpose of saying: 'you don't know what you're talking about! I'm the one being logical here.'

Ok. So. I have actually thought a LOT about this ship they ARE in my "there's something there" tier because I'm certain there's something. aurgh
There's actually an artpiece by @/gdgoodday that lives rent free in my mind that isn't ship art but has them both and I think about it each day
Ummmmm anyways I thought long and hard about this ship as a concept tbh. And what I ended up with is
You know when you think you’re jealous of someone but actually you’re attracted to them (not like I would know EXTREMELY aroace but yknow it’s a trope in media) and like. You get really confused because I thought I disliked this person but??? Hot??? That’s fundynotfound to me.
Fundy himself is very jealous character in my brain- maybe it’s cuz his life is so shit and everything goes bad for him at every turn no matter how hard he tries. George gets everything he wants plus interest and I think that’s a fascinating character dynamic to explore in general like truly hopeless loser x the worst man alive to give lots of money
George is selfish and a jerk and generally assholeish behavior all around and Fundy really tries his best but it’s never enough (for George or otherwise!). Maybe it’s tries way too hard x never tried in their life.
ALSO WOOPS NEVER CLARIFIED YES NAVY!! DREAM DID LEAVE FUNDY AT THE ALTAR FOR GEORGE WHICH IS KIND OF WHAT I BASED THE WHOLE JEALOUSY THING OFF OF “what makes him so great (nothing) what don’t I have (a spine) how can I make you love me (you can’t)” like that kind of thing but that’s more into fundywastaken territory which is not what we’re talking about today
I think George would treat Fundy more like a pet if we’re going good ending? Like he’d like and protect him but more in a “don’t kick my dog only im allowed to kick my dog” way and Fundy just wants to feel wanted so he puts up with it and god a fundynotfound divorce fic would go SO HARD
also navy bold words “the person I cared about” EHH EHHH EHHH wrong cgeorge doesn’t care about anyone especially not cdream /lh /silly
if anything that would be a point of conflict because George takes all that he has for granted including the loyalty of a madman and Fundy wants all that George has

anyways wrapping up thoughts not my personal favorite ship but I have a lot of thoughts and that usually leads to hyperfixation so who knows maybe I’ll be posting fundynotfound art within the next months or two (don’t get your hopes up but I could be convinced)
So basically the way the plot goes is Tommy tubbo ranboo and purpled are all in the same general area when the virus breaks out and they kind of form a survival group.
They live off scraps for a couple months but then something Bad Happens and on a supply run without Tommy the gang gets got
Bee duo either disappear before this or they're killed in the attack either way Purpled limps home with a bite and Tommy is literally traumatized from that moment onwards
Purpled doesn't try to convince Tommy to leave when he dies because he's 17 and fuckimn terrified and Tommy would not have gone anyways. He's alone in an apocalypse better to die quickly now to his friend instead of starving or getting got by some stranger
So Tommy falls asleep with Purpled as he turns expecting to never wake up but woopdeedoo he wakes up the next morning apparently unscathed. Omg Purpled didn't bite him it must be because they're so close and he remembered Tommy
But. In fact. Purpled did bite him. And Tommy is now infected. But it's a specific strain that makes it so only little tiny bits of his brain are eroded at first and not like his entire personality and he is also not consumed with hunger. it's mostly just. A memory here. A moral there. And speaking of morals
Tommy REALLY wants to keep Purpled "alive", obviously, and the virus in his brain is eroding his sympathy for humans by the hour, so he feeds any survivor he finds to his zombie friend. now only recognizing him as another undead, purpled goes along with it. He probably tries to offer the flesh to Tommy too but Tommy is still a guy up in there so he eats regular stuff.
Unfortunately Regular Stuff TM is not in high supply so he miiigghttt eat a person here or there but nothing insane until the very later stages (and only when he's really really starving)
And maybe they find a human settlement that is like "WHY is that kid dragging around a zombie and WHY isn't it biting him" multiple people try to kill Purpled and save Tommy but Tommy is absolutely not having any of that so more murder
Zombie and his half-zombie-kind-of-maybe-just-crazy friend. Scourge on the world
oh absolute peak. Big fan of slow-acting zombification, it really adds to the inherent horror of the process.
