Chapter 1: Lovers
Standing on a mountain, on a dark night, there are two people. These two are embracing as the mountain around them slowly crumbles. These lovers are gazing into each other's eyes. "We're going to live... right?" the boy asks, shaking. A piece of the mountain breaks off right next to his feet, causing him to jump up. "Just hold on to me, I promise everything will be okay," the girl says, holding him tighter. She glances around, her long black hair blowing in the wind. 'There's got to be some way out of this...' she thinks. She takes a step away from the spot that had just broken off, bringing the boy with her.
"I have an idea, just don't let go, you hear me?" she says, turning her back to him. He nods silently, as he continues to hold onto her. The girl lifts her foot as she begins to fall from the mountain. "Tina, don't fall!" the boy shouts. To his surprise, she counters by jumping off the cliff, the boy still on her back. The two plummet down into what seems to be an endless pit. "Trust me, I know what I'm doing," she whispers.
Tina grabs onto a rock platform just as they are about to collide with the water. The boy whimpers as he holds onto her waist. "I can't do this anymore... I should just let go..." he cries. "Rei! Get a hold of yourself. We can make it through this together," Tina remarks, shifting her weight. He keeps his eyes shut tight, but Tina glances around at the endless ocean.
"Ihhh! I should never have come here!" Rei cries. He feels tears rolling down his cheeks as he starts losing his grip around Tina's waist. "Running away from home was the biggest mistake of my life!" Tina shakes her head, trying to encourage him. "Don't say that, Rei! If we hadn't run away together, we never would have had all of these great adventures."
She was right. Before he left home, Rei was just a sheltered little boy who lived a boring, ordinary life. But after he met Tina, he was introduced to a whole new world. Lots of new friends, interesting new places... and best of all, he got to taste his first ever T-Pocit. That sweet, refreshing taste was worth all of the troubles that they had faced together. And he would have never experienced all of those things if Tina hadn't guided him on this amazing adventure.
Rei knew what he had to do. Above him, Tina was starting to lose her grip on the rocks. Rei's weight was pulling her down, and it was only a matter of time until the both of them fell deep into the depths below them. It was time for Rei to make a choice. "Thank you for everything, Tina," Rei whispers back up at her. "This has been the best experience of my entire life." Tina looks back at him over her shoulder. "It's not over yet. Just hold on-" She stops mid-sentence as she feels a weight drifting away off her shoulders. Rei had let go.
Chapter 2: Garbage Sailor
After that idiot crashed into the water, everything went black. He felt himself sinking deeper and deeper. He was going to die.
Why did I sacrifice myself for that girl I barely even knew? I'm so stupid, he thought to himself as his lungs filled with water. Suddenly, he felt something sharp piercing through his stomach. He looked down to see what it was, but opening your eyes under the ocean is really dumb, so he just ended up hurting himself. The only thing he knew... was that there was blood everywhere!
Whatever stabbed through his stomach suddenly started to pull on him. Since it was so tightly pierced through him, it pulled his whole body along with it. It looked like it was going up towards the surface, but Ray was so close to dying at this point he couldn't tell up from down.
Suddenly... he felt a cold breeze on his face. The next thing he knew, he was laying on a boat surrounded by piles of garbage. As he slowly opened his eyes, all Ray could see was the angry face of an old grumpy sailor staring down at him.
The sailor was only wearing shorts, so he was practically naked! Ray looks up, pointing at him. "Eww put some clothes on!" Ray shouts, covering his eyes. "Mahou shoujo MAgica!" the sailor shouts. "Where did I even end up, another planet? This guy isn't even talking in English!" Ray shouts, staring off the boat. "Desderidem Madoka!" The sailor screams, pointing up.
"Yeah I can tell you're upset, so just calm down, sailor boy" Ray says, shaking his head. He looks up as a Pelipper lands next to him. The Sailor seemed to be pointing at that. "Oh hey, you're a water type Pokemon, so it makes sense why you would be hanging around out here," Ray laughs.
Ray takes his shirt off, throwing it at the sailor. "Take this and cover yourself up. I'm tired of looking at naked men," Ray says, looking the other way. The Sailor says more nonsense in another language. "So where'd my girl friend go, anyway?" Ray asks the sailor, who is tangled up in the shirt. He sighs, sitting on the ground. "I guess she's probably dead anyway. Not like this naked guy's gonna give me any information that I need," Ray talks to himself out loud.
The sailor takes off his hat. It falls on the ground and he looks down. He then sits on his hat and dances around. Ray looks at him disgustingly and frowns. "Put on my shirt already! You must be freezing without any clothes on in the middle of the ocean," Ray says, but the sailor ignores him and continues to dance in his seat like a baby, on the hat.
