The last five minutes, hell, the last thirty minutes were blanked out to her. In this moment it was just her, this body and now Midas. She was down on her knees, blood on her shaking hands.

“I- no...”

There wasn’t any proper way she could answer that... Something was wrong and Envoy was starting to notice it.

“His reboot card. It didn’t... it didn’t appear.”

Midas’ brows furrowed in concern as he stared at the scene, Envoy was right, the reboot card wasn’t appearing and that was far from normal.

“Envoy, what happened before I walked in?”

His voice low and calm, despite the slight worry gnawing at the back of his mind

Her voice trailed off. Nothing came to her mind when she tried to recall what happened. She fell back on her butt and scooted herself away from the body on the floor.

“I can’t remember anything.”

That caused Midas to grow even more worried, his normally stone cold exterior breaking,Envoy was his friend and he cared for her, and this was very unsettling.

“Just take a deep breath, just calm down and breathe. We will figure this out alright? Just stay calm, I’ll have someone come and clean this and dispose of the body. It will be fine”

His voice calm and he was doing his best to sound soothing as he knelt down next to envoy, grimacing as blood got onto his pants

Envoy listened to his words carefully, slowly nodding her head before following what he was saying. Taking a deep breath, inhale... exhale... Curling up into a ball, she ran her bloodied fingers through her hair. She didn’t even think about the liquid still being on her fingers.

“What have I done? Was I in control?”

Questioning if it was really her who committed such an act.
