On November 3, NCT127 released a single titled "FREEZE." It was made in collaboration with KARTRIDER, a mobile racing game made by NEXON. The song itself is very neo-sounding; it is an exhilarating fast-paced song that makes the listener want to speed from 0 to 100.

Lyrical Analysis of NCT127 Favorite [Vampire]

"A dark night when you coming with a storm Come to me like you'll swallow me up Just watching you never satisfy my soul You don't know me yet" -NCT127 Favorite [Vampire]

Favorite [Vampire] is a song about regret, pain, and despair in the name of love. The members are all vampires who have waited for an entirety for their lovers, and it is the wait that drives them.

I chose the quote from the song's first half of the Rap section, containing Mark, Taeyong, Johnny, Yuta, and Jaehyun.

The first line came from Mark, "A dark night when you coming with a storm." I would personally analyze it like this; when their lovers come with a strong drive or emotion, it tends to bring problems. As it's described as a storm, it seems that they have no power to diverge the storm, there're at its mercy.

The following line was said from Yuta, "Come to me like you'll swallow me up." I believe this line follows directly from the previous line as the members seem to be just fine with being used by their lovers. The line's action is quite decisive and shows the intense reaction they give to each other.

The following line is Johnny with, "Just watching you never satisfy my soul." This line is quite apparent and shows their distinct reaction to never being able to physically be with their lovers. To never be satisfied is something that many can never come to terms with, and it seems that they fall into that party. The line holds a lot of strength in its meaning and has a lot of adverse effects on the member's passions for their lost lovers.

The last line came from Yuta, "You don't know me yet." It came off as a warning to their lovers, saying; I have not shown my true self as I am afraid of rejection.

In conclusion, NCT127 Favorite [Vampire] is a song about never-ending love, even when they are lost in despair. Thank you!
