“Babbity who?”
“Babbity Rabbity!” You raise your eyebrows at him, surprised. “You haven’t heard of the Tale of Babbity Rabbity and her Cackling Stump?”
“No, what’s that?” He shakes his head, baffled.
“Oh my God, you don’t know Babbity Rabbity!”
The students sitting scattered around you both lift up their heads and stare at him at your exclamation. Renjun lowers his head, his ears burning.
“You don’t have to be so loud,” he mutters sullenly.
“Sorry,” you whisper, ducking your head too. “But still! How can you not know Babbity Rabbity? She’s like, one of my heroes.”
“It’s not like you know about Sleeping Beauty or Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs or even Cinderella for that matter.”
“Cinderella?” You wrinkle your nose. “That sounds disgusting.”
“Babbity Rabbity sounds much worse, trust me,” he snorts, turning the page of his Potions book.
You gasp, and he whips his head up to look at you - and regrets it almost immediately. Renjun gulps, and his palms feel sweaty. He grips the edge of the table, trying to quell the loud thumping of his heart.
“Take that back, Huang Renjun.” You point your first finger at him, and he leans back a bit. “You take that back right now.”
“Nope,” he says smugly, turning his attention back to his book and picking up his quill.
“Merlin, what did I do to deserve a best friend who thinks Babbity Rabbity sounds weird?”
He rolls his eyes, not looking up from his parchment. Even though your tone is sarcastic, Renjun can make out the warmth in your voice. It scares him slightly, how he’s able to read you so well. Then again, almost seven years of friendship and banter shared between you both would do that, he supposes. If only he could work up the courage to tell you that he wants to be more than that.
“You know you love me,” he replies.
“Yeah,” you say, your voice soft again. Renjun doesn’t know why your tone drops whenever he mentions anything about love - it concerns him, because this is the second time it’s happening. “I guess I do.”

You hear a horn sound, yes, again. You know who it is, it's the light brown haired guys who deliver stuff aka postman. But you hate it very much. Very very much. You hate the fact that he comes always come here daily not to delivering stuff, but he just wants to see you and say hi and whatsoever
In this week, it's 4 days in a row he stops the motorcycle in front of your house, just to see how you doing. Yeah, in the state when he still wears his uniform and unsettled delivery stuff. You are very sure that his boss and also the customer will complain a lot and you didn't want to care about it
Oh please. He is just a random stranger who just likes to stop in front of your house and say hi to you although you didn't order anything. Why does he love to see you? He is just a stranger and suddenly feel attracted towards you but why?
"Hello. You again?" You open the door and try to close it again but he fights you so the door didn't close
"What's wrong with you? What do you want?" you whisper yelled at him. You hate it, especially when people or the neighbour always caught you two talking with each other.
"I just want to say hi, like always" he winked. You rolled your eyes. Ugh, you just want to kick his ass out or shut him up with the tape and throw him at somewhere. Luckily it's just the imagination so nothing to worry about
"Can I know why are you keep doing this? You are just a stranger but why are you doing this? It's annoying" you said with a firm tone
"Why? You don't like it?" You made a disgusting face as he said that
"Relax okay. I just want to know more about you and let you know more about me"
"Wow? Why so random? I'm just the stranger and you just the stranger so what's the point actually?" You crossed your arms and lean against the door
"I just feel something and U am attracted to you okay. So shut up and please don't question that. And also please don't be too mean cuz it's hurt me" he said and look away, feels embarrassed. Again, you just roll your eyes. You hate to admit it but the more you talk and had a little quarrel with him, the more you both enjoyed it
"Your name is Han, huh?" You read his tag name
"Absolutely. It's written on the tag name clearly don't you see?"
"Yeah, I know. Don't need to be so rude" you chuckle
"You start it first," he said
"Yeah, whatever. By the way, Handsome name. Like the owner of the name" he blushes at your compliments. He cleared his throat
"Of course I am. And you too. Y/n is a very beautiful name"
"How do you know?"
"Idiot. Sometimes I deliver your stuff here and the name written on the wrapped packaged" you nodded
"Stop visit me, or else the boss or customer will complain something about you" you reminded him
"I don't care. I just want to see you " you furrowed at his comment. Why is he so into you?
"What the hell are you saying" you rolled your eyes again. Its so weird but you cant do anything about that
You both looks at each other again and his smirk turn into sweet smile. Gosh, why are you like this? He is not someone that you know after all
"I have to go and delivered other stuff" he said
"You better go. Oh! Next time please deliver me something okay" You joked
"I will deliver the kiss next time" he mumbled
"What?"
"You shouldn't know" he smirk and wink at you. You just shake your head
"We should go out together someday" He added
"Whatever. Stop flirting and go or else I will kick you out"
He laughs and go away with his motorcycle. The way you two meet is the weird way ever. And now he wished that he can go out with you.
