The last book ended with the Horns having a nice moment where Pisces lashing out, Mrsha being the one to snap him out of his rage, and then he apologized and shared a lot of his past and I cried a little during all that. Mrsha has that effect tbh.
I was terrified that Ryoka's companion in this first chapter was some weird creepy Ivolethe doll after we last saw her with Bellavierr but thankfully it was just MOUSEY THE MASSIVE WAR HOUND
omg I love Lady Pryde. We only met her once before when she got the black rose, but now she just stood in the face of an Ogre who wanted her LIKE THAT and said something like "you wouldn't last a minute with me and you're too ugly to be a consort of mine" lmaooo
and then she LOST THE FRONT OF HER DRESS in the fight and it didn't phase her at all
She could obliterate me and I'd thank her for it I mean what? Who said that? Must've been the wind...
I'm suspecting that this Goblin Slayer is one of the redfangs and I'm hoping it's Rabbiteater because he hasn't been accounted for yet and the order of seasons observed his good steel and well-fitting armor which are pretty big hints from that one Champion skill, but i'm questioning the motivation here if it is him?? Unless the goblins he's hunting were from Reiss's army?

"I took it off a hobgoblin" so either it is Rabbiteater since he took it off Headscratcher, which we already knew, or Rabbiteater got killed off-screen and this is a new character... and I doubt pirateaba would do that to me when they break my heart so openly all the time lol
Sooo he essentially fought the goblins that attacked with the ogres since they were enslaved, but once all the ogres were dead he let the rest of the tribe go, and used old ears to trick the humans. Nice.
