You can want a boyfriend without needing one. When I say “I really want a boyfriend” I am not at all trying to come off as ‘needy’ or ‘desperate’ so do not tell me “You don’t need one you’re so young” okay, yeah I don’t really NEED one, but I should be able to want someone that will take me out on dates, cuddle with me after long days, tell me I’m beautiful all the time and mean it, and want to genuinely spend time with me, without getting shit for it. That’s something I want in life and you shouldn’t make me feel like shit about it. Even if I was desperate and felt like I need one, THEN SO WHAT? That’s how I would feel and that would be my decision. Rant over.
