Apologies, that joke was far too easy to make. Regarding whether or not you may have Matsuda Touta, I'm afraid I do not have any jurisdiction over what he chooses to do with his life. In a way, I suppose the answer is "yes", but that all depends on what Matsuda would like to do.

Functionally, both the Task Force and the SPK are working towards the same goal: catching Kira. However, if working alongside the SPK better suits Matsuda's tastes and assuming you promise to cooperate with the Task Force Near, I see no issue with this proposal. I must admit that I will miss having Matsuda deliver my coffee and tea, as he seems to have memorized exactly how I take it.

I am also intrigued to discover why you assumed I had any say in Matsuda's decision. Perhaps it's because I am the leading detective on the Kira case, which makes sense, seeing as the only other reason could be that you've assumed Matsuda and I are engaged in some sort of relationship, the nature of which would be definitively unprofessional. If this was in fact what you'd assumed, would you indulge my curiosity and explain how you came to that conclusion? I would greatly appreciate it.
