Hello! This is my pawn shop pride icon blog! (main is @defokelore-13​) I’m Skye, the only mod on this blog. You can ask for any flags, ranging from MOGAI to disabilities! I can do joke flags too, like Super Hell. I can do (mostly) any fandom!

So, when you’re requesting... -If you want an alt version of a flag, say so! Also, please send me a picture of the flag. You can send it in another ask if you want to be anonymous. Or you can send me the @ of whoever made the flag or a link to the post of the flag. -If you want a specific version of a character (ex, Super Sonic or classic Sonic instead of modern Sonic), tell me! I’ll probably be able to find transparents somewhere. -please be nice. i am very sensitive /hj A blacklist: -Any MAP flag or other harmful flags. -The DID flag made by the Entropy System (the white, orange, and black one) -Fandoms: H-talia, H-mestuck, C-mp C-mp, any V/vziepop media, IRL people, NSFW media (I can do gory media like Corpse Party. I can also make icons for the UTAU/Maidloid Acme Iku.) There’s probably more that I just can’t think of at the moment. sorry for disappearing like that, i just lost motivation for some reason. Also, I got logged out of Picsart and pretty much all the image files on my computer disappeared? for some reason?? but since it’s Pride month, i figured i’d start working on this blog again! ^0^ so, i decided to redo my aro Defoko icons since I got new, better transparents for her! (and also because i wanted a pride-themed icon for my main, but that’s besides the point)

i originally sent this to the person who made the flag originally, but then i realized they haven’t posted since november last year so, um, aroaces,

our flag looks like the flag of apartheid south africa

my south african friend brought this up to me today. it doesn’t matter how different the flags are–when you spraypaint it, when you see the flag from far away, all you see is the orange, white, and blue

the apartheid south africa flag is a flag that is a threat to their lives, their safety, and their country my friend proposed that we could flip the flag, like an upside down cross, and i would like to suggest shifting the colours like this (similar to what they were like on the original aroace flag):

the colours all have the same meaning, they’re just different shades now. i don’t like to reblog bait but please reblog this, regardless of if you’re aroace or not, so we can spread word and use a flag that doesn’t represent white supremacy and racism.
