Since I have been posting about my OC Mikey to NINblr I am going to use this post to both invite you to ask questions if you have any, and also to answer questions that may be commonly asked

1. What the fuck is that thing?

That's Mikey.

2. Okay but what is he?

He is a copy of Trent Reznor except they forgot to clone all the stuff that made him cool.

3. Is he an OC for a specific fandom?

Yes and no. He's from an original project I'm working on called Mitosis, however since that project is a ripoff of the MTV show Clone High, he also doubles as a fan character.

4. What does he even do?

He plays saxophone and tambourine for his band class, but he mostly just cries in the corner as he overthinks what his existence means. He also has a girlfriend (that character is kind of a work in progress tho.)

5. Is his theme song Copy of A?

Absolutely.

6. Can I draw him?

Ask first and ye shall do it but please keep it tame.

I decided to make my own design for Tron, both to speculate on what he might've looked like after the events of Uprising and Legacy, but most importantly because he is really fucking difficult to draw.

Disney tends to default to his 1982 appearance (and it's my personal favorite), so I wanted something that keeps the spirit of that one with a sleeker and simpler suit design. Here's a few more notes, but do feel free to ask me further about my design philosophy.

Project Hail Mary and Pretty Hate Machine use the same initials and sometimes end up getting crossed tagged by accident, so anyways I had to draw something about it.

I caved in.

When I told my friend I was making a Clone High OC off Trent Reznor, she simply said it "How very 2000s MTVcore of you" and that is the best compliment I have ever recieved.

Some rambling under the cut:

Not gonna lie y'all, it's something of tradition for me to make a Clone High OC based on something I like, but truth be told, I lowkey dislike the fandom + Highkey hate what happened to the show after season 1. Instead of complaining about it though, I'm actually gonna be making my own ripoff of it so that I can take the parts I did like and run with them. It's been under the working title "Mitosis" and my plan is to turn it into either a webcomic or a novel with illustrations. I can't tell you anything more than that since it's in super early planning, but a lot of my Clone High OCs are guaranteed to become the cast of Mitosis; I'm still tagging them as Clone High to garner interest within the fandom who want more of the same premise but are disappointed with the lack of official media/the quality of seasons 2 and 3 for the show they latched onto.
