Necromunda Enforcers, Part 2

I’ve finished my Delaque gang, just waiting on the chance to get them varnished. In the meantime, I’ve been putting the finishing touches on assembling the Enforcers from before. Here’s how they look:

As far as colours go, I’m thinking of doing something inspired by Dredd, owing to their obvious roots.

Sort of a dark blue for the fatigues, dark green armour, dark red for the weapon casings. Not quite a 1:1 match to their inspiration but something of a nod in its general direction.

Anyway, that should keep me busy for the next few weeks!

Necromunda Delaque Progress

I’ve been steadily working my way on painting the Delaque gang for Necromunda over the past two weeks, even getting a few of them done while on vacation. Here’s a quick look at them:

That last shot is from a couple days ago, and I have in fact finished the Juves and Leader. Now I just need to find some time to finish off the bases and they’ll be ready for varnishing.

Necromunda is one of the best of the older games set in 40k. I recently read Ross Kemp’s ‘Gangs’ and thought that’s exactly what the reality of the underhive is probably like, the violence in 'Gangs’ was difficult to take in. Few people probably pause to think just what a violent and dangerous place Necromunda is with gang warfare, drugs, prostitution and slavery. Necromunda has to be the darkest 40k gets.
