ik this might be text instead of subtext and I’m only just now getting it, but it really hurts to realize that Kon took Bart’s scout dying on Apokolips so badly not just bc it put Bart in a coma, but also bc he viewed that scout as a full person, everyone else is quick to accept the scouts as pale imitations of the original, copies that can be disposed of, but Kon has believed in his own humanity and has fought for his and other clones’ personhood for his entire life, he’d never accept that anyone was disposable, so when that scout died Kon might have been the only person to truly mourn him as Bart, that was his best friend!!!!

so bullfrogs theme is "deliverer of justice" AND HE SO DESERVES THIS TITLE because like?? throughout the show he gives advice to everyone, especially pey'j and dolph, he was trying to be the voice of reason, trying to make them see that vengeance is not always the right thing!

also, must be crazy to hear that from an assassin frog, which laserhawk even later jokes about 😭 but even though he calls him the 'most ridiculous assassin', he did recognize bullfrog was right and was trying to help him from making desicions in the name of vengeance

OH and also!!

not to mention my favorite example of him delivering justice; even though rayman was his 'enemy' as edens voice and posterboy as bullfrog calls him, he does help him to realize everything that happened, how eden manipulated and used him and that everything is gonna get worse if he continues the way he does now

he even calls him his friend at the end! which i just thought was super important in that scene, he even reassures him of his emotions :D

AND!! AND!!

not to mention he defends rayman from red after red had beaten him, literally calling that guy a coward because he fought unfair- god he does deliver justice 😭‼️

in conclusion: bullfrog is the best 😞
