A thing I wrote because Mari wasn't home to sleep with me

That awkward moment when you're trying to sleep at 4 am and you start crying because the person you care about the most isn't sleeping next to you. Then the next time you are trying to sleep at 4 am and you start crying because now that person is sleeping in your arms and has made reality better than dreams so you hug them close and fall asleep in a few minutes because when you sleep with them, insomnia does a disappearing act and sadness is no more.
