Today something touched me so deeply, and I feel like if I don’t share it, God would never forgive me. Pete Hegseth stepped away from Princeton — one of the greatest opportunities America can place in front of you — and chose the battlefield instead. Marco Rubio grew up watching his father work behind a bar while his mother cleaned other people’s hotel rooms — and chose to fight so that no American family would ever have to feel that powerless again. Two completely different beginnings. Two completely different worlds. One man walked away from everything comfort could offer. One man created his future from absolutely nothing. And today, they sit at the same table. Secretary of Defense. Secretary of State. Standing side by side. Carrying America forward together. My wife heard me say this tonight and became completely silent. Then she said — one man had everything and willingly gave it up. The other had nothing and built everything himself. And somehow, both ended up in the same place, choosing the same purpose. I couldn’t add another word to that. Because she had already said it all. Because that is what America is truly about. Not where you begin. Not what you receive. But what you decide to do when your moment arrives. And Pete Hegseth and Marco Rubio both chose America. At the highest cost. Without turning around. Tonight, say one prayer for both of these men. For the Princeton graduate who chose the battlefield. And for the bartender’s son who chose the fight of his life. Two different paths. One destination. America first. If this story touched something inside you that you cannot put into words — type “AMERICA FIRST — NO MATTER THE COST” below. Then share this with every American who needs to remember that greatness has nothing to do with where you came from.
